Cost/Availability: $9.49 (0.35 oz/10 g full size). Available on the Milani Cosmetics website, and everywhere else Milani is sold.

My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

The Milani Illuminating Face Powder is a silky smooth, lightweight powder to add a subtle highlight or bronzer, all with a lit-from-within glow.

Average wear; re-apply as wanted/needed.

Sheer, buildable coverage. When applied with a fluffy brush it goes on soft and radiant. When swatched with my fingers it went on heavier, but I wouldn't recommend actually applying it that way; I just wanted to show you the colors applied in a bolder way.

Milani Illuminating Face Powder Review:
First, I have to point out how pretty these are! I almost didn't want to use them because they are so pretty to look at! They're priced affordable, as one compact is going to last you a very long time since a little goes on a long way to give yourself a natural, soft glow.

These powders go on silky soft and give you a soft, radiant, lit-from-within glow. They go on sheer, so it's almost impossible to mess up the application of these. I recommend applying with a blush brush or some other fluffy brush.

Out of the three shade I have, my favorite may be 02 Hermosa Rose for a bronze kiss, or maybe even 03 Beauty's Touch for a soft pink glow... then again 01 Amber Nectar is a beautiful mix of both. Ah, see, I can't even pick a favorite!

Overall, yes, I'd recommend these!

Now let me know what you think...
What do you think of these illuminating face powders? Have you tried them or do you want to? Which shade do you like best? Discuss in the comments below.

  1. These look far more expensive than they are, and the design is gorgeous! I only own one Milani product, maybe it's time for me to buy a second!

  2. The rose design is so cute! #1 look perfect to give a soft healthy glow on the cheeks. :D
