I recently was a sent a sample box from Beauty Box Five to review and share with my readers. Beauty Box Five is monthly subscription service. They'll send you 4 to 5 beauty samples each month. The shipment I received has an over $40 value.

Subscriptions are $12 a month (if you sign up for the month-to-month subscription). You can save money by signing up for their quarterly subscription - which is $30 (saving you $6) or their yearly subscription - which is $100 (gives you 2 free months). Boxes ship mid-month.

Keep in mind the box I'm showing you is not the November 2012 shipment; this is just a random mix of products for me to get an idea of what a box may include.

Lash Card

• MY THOUGHTS: I've received this product in another subscription service box and have yet to use these cards. However, I think they are a fantastic idea! I just generally don't have much trouble with applying my mascara to need one of these. Now what I do need is a shadow guard for shimmery and glittery loose-shadows!

Pur-lisse Pur-Delicate Gentle Soy Milk Cleanser & Makeup Remover

• MY THOUGHTS: I like the Pur-lisse brand, so it's always nice to try a new product. I like that this is a cleanser and makeup remover in one, making it simple to take off my makeup at night and feel like my face is clean.

CityLips Advanced Formula, clear

• MY THOUGHTS: I already love this brand and have the original formula, which I've reviewed in the past here. The Advanced Formula is even better; really happy to receive this sample as I'm just about out of the original full sized tube I have.

Bodyography Foundation Primer

• MY THOUGHTS: I've never tried this brand before so it will be nice to try something new. I already have a ton of primers, so I'm not sure exactly when I'll get around to testing this out but I know I'll give it a try in the near future. It's also a great size sample tube; over half the full size!

Blinc Mascara

• MY THOUGHTS: I'm not a fan of the original Blinc Mascara, so I didn't bother to open this sample up because I plan to use it in an upcoming giveaway. I do, however, like Blincs new Amplified Mascara - which I recently reviewed here.

City Lips CITY Chic 4-Pack of mini glosses - pics, swatches, review

Not long ago I shared with you an amazing lip plumper, the City Lips Original Formula Lip Plumper. I still love that lip plumper, but also wanted to share with you all the mini set of 4 glosses I have from them as well - which also plump lips beautifully. I have the CITY Chic 4-Pack, but there are other 4-packs available. In the CITY Chic 4-Pack there are two shade that are pretty much just sheer on my lips and another two shades with more saturated color. All shades have incredible shine and that great plumping power City Lips is known for.

Formula:

The one lip treatment that does it all: plump, restore and prevent aging. Get healthier, smoother and younger looking lips. Plumping spheres penetrate and well instantly adding volume and plumpness. Powerful peptides stimulate natural collagen. The hydrating benefits plump up fine lines around the lip, making the lip line more defined. They are sheer to light in color payoff, enhancing the natural color of your lips.

Wear:

Average to above average gloss wear. I found these actually lasted pretty long for a gloss.

City Lips CITY Chic 4-Pack Review:

Just like the City Lips Original Lip Plumper, I really liked these mini glosses. They give my lips shiny, juicy looking color with that great City Lips plumping action. I didn't photograph before & after for plumping on these, so just check out my post on the Original City Lips Lip Plumper to see my before & after. These glosses provide identical results.

Out of the four shades I have, I don't know if I could even choose a favorite; I pretty much like them all. They go on nicely, maybe a little thick in texture but still feel smooth and comfortable on my lips. They have incredible shine and will plump up your lips.

I do think they are pricey for the size of the glosses, that's probably my only complaint, however a little goes a long way so these will last a good amount of time even for their mini size. It's a great way to try out several shades before committing to purchasing a full-sized version.

I'd recommend these!
