Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Nail Polish in LOVELY Lavender, HEALING Heather Grey, CLARITY Coral - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Dr.'s REMEDY makes some of my favorite nail polishes; the quality is really nice and their colors are pretty. I own several shades of Dr.'s REMEDY polishes, and I've reviewed some of them in the past - such as their Holiday 2011 Collection, or the 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness Collection. In this post I have three more shades to share with you: LOVELY Lavender, HEALING Heather Grey, and CLARITY Coral. All three are creme shades and great staples to have in your collection. Check out my review, and all the product info, after the pics!

Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Nail Polish Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $ (0.5 fl oz full size). Available on the Dr.'s REMEDY website.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses

Dr.'s REMEDY polishes are enriched with naturally occurring anti-fungal ingredients like tea tree oil, garlic bulb extract, vitamins C and E, and wheat protein. Free from harsh toxins to promote healthier, stronger nails. Dr.'s REMEDY is the first-ever nail polish on the market approved by the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr.'s REMEDY polishes are really great quality. I never have any issues with application or wear of these, and I only wish they had more shades available or that they were more easily found in stores. They are on the high-end side with price, at $17 a bottle, but they are an above-average polish brand (although back in 2011 they were $14 a bottle; not sure when the price increase happened).

The three shades in this post are LOVELY Lavender, HEALING Heather Grey, and CLARITY Coral. My favorite of the three is HEALING Heather Grey because I love grey shades and this is a great concrete light gray creme shade - just beautiful, in my opinion! LOVELY Lavender is a pretty purple shade; it's a more sophisticated lavender shade, as most "lavender" shades tend to be more pastel. This shade of lavender is great year round and can easily be worn as a fall shade! CLARITY Coral is more of a coral in person than it appears in photos; in photos it looks more red. It is a really pretty, fun, bright shade.

There are other shades in the line I like, such as TRANQUIL Tangerine, SOOTHING Slate, BOLD Baby Blue, and GLEE Gold. I do notice their shades change up on their website pretty often; not so much adding new shades as much as I notice shades disappearing. For example, when I last checked, out of the three shades in this post, only CLARITY Coral was available on the website. Not sure if shades come back in stock as they get more in, but I'd check back to their website to see what they offer.

Overall, if you're looking for a healthier polish formula then this is the one for you. Yes, they are a splurge at $17 a bottle, but if your budget allows I would recommend picking up a shade or two.

Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Instant Cover in Medium: pics, swatches, before & after, review

Hello, Beautiful!

You probably know the brand Dr.'s REMEDY for their healthy nail polishes, but in this post I'll share with you their Enriched Instant Cover -- a product for body to instantly conceal and perfect. You can build the coverage to even cover a tattoo!

Check out my pics, swatches, info, and review... click on pics to view them larger.

Dr.'s REMEDY
Enriched Instant Cover
Shade: Medium

Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Instant Cover Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $40.00 (3.5 oz full size). Available on the Dr.'s REMEDY website and everywhere else Dr.'s REMEDY is sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Dr.'s REMEDY Enriched Instant Cover is intended to minimize any skin-tone imperfection from neck to toe. Ideal to cover bruises, spider veins, sun spots, birthmarks, and even tattoo's. Hide any imperfection you want quickly and easily.

Boasting an ingredient list that's good-for-your-skin, such as tea tree oil, lavender, vitamins C and E, and wheat protein. It's also water resistant.

Available in three shades, Fair, Medium or Deep, which is probably the only tricky part for most; I have the Medium and it works well for me. Dries down a little lighter than when first applied.

It has a sponge/foam tip applicator, which I'm neutral about; I don't really like it but I don't really dis-like it either. I also want to mention how nice and large this tube is. You get 3.5 ounces - which if you want to compare, a typical bottle of foundation is 1 ounce.

I did like how quickly this dried down; which is great if you plan to layer this to build coverage. Really impressed with the coverage level too; I was able to cover my tattoo with no issues - and if it can cover black ink it can certainly handle anything else.

Want to update this review to mention this is not meant for the face. On their website it says "head to toe" so I apologize for my confusion thinking it could be used on the face. This product is for body only.

The only reason I didn't rate this 5 out of 5 Kisses is because of the lack of shade choices, otherwise I think this is a really fantastic product!

A great product I hope they make in more shades; I think this is a product well worth checking out!

Dr.'s REMEDY Breast Cancer Awareness Collection 2012 Review:
As with all the Dr.'s REMEDY polishes I own, the 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness Collection are three great polishes. I love the formula; it goes on smooth, even, and has a nice shiny finish.

The shades in the 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness Collection include a sheer, barely there light pink (PURITY Pink), which would make a great base for a french manicure or for anyone who just likes the look of sheer polish. Then there is the pinky-peach nude with barely-there shimmer (NURTURE Nude Pink), which is opaque in 2 to 3 coats (depending on how thin of coats you use) and is a beautiful nude to wear. And finally, the winner of the collection in my opinion, you have the cool based hot pink creme (HOPEFUL Hot Pink).

When you can buy polish that is good for you and does good for someone else, then everyone wins. Dr.'s REMEDY will donate proceeds from the sale of these three shades to Living Beyond Breast Cancer.

I highly recommend checking out the Dr.'s REMEDY 2012 Breast Cancer Awareness Collection, as well as the rest of the Dr.'s REMEDY polish line!
