Eyeko Brow Gel (tinted) - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I love the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner (it's my favorite liquid liner), and up until a few weeks ago I've only tried products for the eyes. I recently tried out their Brow Gel - which is a tinted formula - and I've been liking it! It has such a cute tiny brush, perfect for your brows! Check out my full review and all the product info after the pictures!

Eyeko Brow Gel

Eyeko Brow Gel Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $24.00 (0.29 fl oz full size). Available on the Eyeko website. I haven't seen this product on the Sephora website yet, but I'm assuming it's coming soon.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

This is an easy-to-use tinted gel to style and care for your brows. Eyeko's nano-brush and botanically-enriched formula effortlessly defines brows for a natural finish. Maintain a healthy brow look with key ingredients Keratin and Ginko Bilabo to condition and thicken. Protein enriched to fortify and maintain healthy brows. Long-lasting hold without flaking or stiffness. Paraben-free.

I love using a brow gel to seal in my brow product I use to fill in my brows, and to keep my brow hairs in place. Even though I have very sparse brows, they still can have a stray here that likes to get out of line from time to time. Brow gel does the job and usually I stick to a clear brow gel but recently tried out this Eyeko Brow Gel - which does have a tint to it.

On the Eyeko website it says the tinted color suits all shades from blonde to brunette. I am brunette and haven't tried this on a blonde, but I can say the tint doesn't super show up in your brows so I would assume it would work for a lot of brow hair colors. In the swatch photo you can see some golden shimmer in the brow gel, but it's not something I've really noticed in person, or even noticed on my brows -- personally, I don't think it's really needed and I don't really like shimmer in brow products (which is the only reason I took off some points in my rating).

What I like the most about this is how small the brush is; I have thinner brows and this is like the perfect size (even if you had larger brows, this would be great). It's small and precise, so you get a perfect application every time.

I personally like to swipe some of the product off the brush before applying it to my brows, because I don't need as much control from the brow gel as maybe someone with thicker, fuller brows.

Overall, I really liked this brow gel and have been using it almost every day in place of my regular clear brow gel. I would say that maybe Eyeko should also make a clear version for those that aren't into tinted brow gels, but I would still recommend you try this one out next time you're on the market for a brow gel!

Eyeko Lash Curler - Limited Edition Blue Velvet - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Am I the only one terrified of eye lash curlers? I don't know... I just never use them because, well, they terrify me! However, I've recently gotten brave enough to try another one out, this one from a brand I trust and really like - Eyeko. It's a limited edition blue velvet lash curler. It's really pretty, which made me want to try it even more. So what did I think? Was I terrified? Did I have good results? Check out my full review & all the info below after the pics!

Eyeko Lash Curler - Blue Velvet

Eyeko Lash Curler Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $16.00 (1 lash curler and includes 2 replacement pads). Available on the Eyeko website.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

The Eyeko lash curler features enhanced design for ultimate precision and ease of use for optimum curl. The ergonomic handles with velvet soft-touch finish provide the perfect amount of pressure and control to ensure beautifully curled lashes. Use before applying mascara to lift your lashes for a wide open eye look.

Includes 2 spare silicone rubber pads, which you should change every 3 months. Also comes in a box, making it a nice giftable item.

This lash curler did a nice job at curling my lashes. I'm still a little terrified of lash curlers, which is why I mostly stay away from them, but this one didn't pinch or tug.

The blue pad had a hard time staying down on the left side. It would go down after it was closed, but then pop back up. I had to fight with it the first couple times I used this and then it eventually stayed down. That's probably the only negative thing I have to say about this lash curler.

I was worried the blue velvet handle grips would get dirty fast, but they've stayed fairly clean and they're easy to wipe down. They do feel comfortable in your hand.

If you're looking for a new lash curler maybe try this one from Eyeko before it's sold out or before they stop carrying it (since it's limited edition).

Eyeko - Black Magic Mascara - before & after, pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Eyeko, the brand that makes my favorite liquid eyeliner, has a new mascara that I'm excited to share with you. It's their Black Magic Mascara, which combines drama, volume and curl with an extreme carbon black finish to intensify your lashes like no other. Check out my before & after pics to see what this mascara can do for your lashes.

Before & After Pics

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $24.00 (0.29 oz full size). Available on the Eyeko website. You can also get this on HSN's website, and eventually on Sephora's website.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Eyeko's new curvaceous brush lifts lashes for a 90 degree curl evenly coated with jet-black color creating full lash definition that really holds.

Formulated with their conditioning Keratin and Shea Butter blend for long-term lash care and superior staying-power that's easy to remove. No smudging, crumbling or flaking. Water-resistant mascara that locks in color for 12+ hours. Paraben-free formula.

Comes with the Eyeko Sheild, a guitar shaped tool designed to maximize length and minimize smudges. Pop it behind lashes and sweep brush up to coat from root to tip.

This mascara formula was a bit clumpy to work with the first time I tried it, but I tried again and had great results. The formula has almost these little fibers or so that come out on the brush. I tried to get pictures of it but not sure I really best represented what it looks like. Regardless, you need to be careful not to apply too much or it will get a bit clumpy. Just gently wipe the brush when you pull it out so you don't have to much on there; you don't need a lot to get the job done with this mascara.

This mascara has a great deep, rich black color to it and it does a nice job at curling my lashes while adding length. Definitely one of the better va-va-voom mascara's I've tried. This is one mascara I liked and would recommend giving a try the next time you need to replace your mascara.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in Navy Blue - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Eyeko makes my favorite liquid eyeliner, their Skinny Liquid Eyeliner in Black. It's just so perfect, but I only had it in black... until now. I was able to try out the Navy Blue color and let me tell you, it's such a pretty Navy Blue. Like an ink-pen blue, but slightly darker. Same great easy-to-use formula, just a different color option.

Check out my pics, swatches, info, and review... click on pics to view them larger.

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner
Shade: Navy Blue

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $15.00 (0.07 fl oz full size). Available on Sephora's website, and of course on the Eyeko website.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

This award-winning liquid eyeliner is simply just the best. This is my first try of one of their color options, other than black (of course). They also have a purple and a green available on the Sephora website.

Preservative-free formula with a key ingredient - Sodium Hyaluronate - which ensures that color glides on and stays on for a long-lasting, glossy, smudge-proof, fade-proof finish.

Just like the perfect black shade, the Navy Blue is a great liquid liner to add a pop of color for everyday wear. You don't need to go with a crazy blue liquid liner to get a great eye-popping effect; I think this is the perfect way to play up your eyes if you're bored of black liner.

I have naturally dark brown eyes, but I wear contacts and sometimes wear gray contacts (which make my eyes look a light blue-gray), but when I wear this liquid liner I like to wear my clear contacts because it plays up my brown eyes so beautifully. Not that it doesn't look good with my color contacts, I just personally love the look with my brown eyes.

Overall, another winner from Eyeko! I'd highly recommend this liquid liner - if not in Navy Blue (in case that's not your color) in Black or one of the other color choices!
