GG Gatsby Flirt In A Bottle Hair Fragrance - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

If you like your hair to smell good, but your shampoo/conditioner or styling product just aren't doing it for ya, then you may want to try a hair fragrance. I've reviewed another hair fragrance in the past, but I have a more affordable option for you in this post with the GG Gatsby Flirt In A Bottle Hair Fragrance. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

GG Gatsby Flirt In A Bottle
Hair Fragrance

GG Gatsby Flirt In A Bottle Hair Fragrance Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $9.99 (4.2 fl oz full size). Available on the GG Gatsby website.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Refresh your tresses a long lasting hair fragrance that will have everyone turning heads. Leaves hair lightly scented and refreshes hair. Improves hair manageability and softness. A sweet blend of apple, pink freesia and sensual musk.

Photochemicals keep hair smelling fresh and lightly scented. Natural extracts and oils nourish hair and scalp. For all hair types. Sulfate-free, paraben-free, and phthalate-free.

TOP NOTES: apple, melon, peach
MID NOTES: pink freesia, sheer muguet
BASE NOTES: blonde woods, sensual musk

To me, this fragrance reminds me a little of Victoria's Secret Love Spell, so if you're a fan of that scent you'll likely love this one.

I just spray this in my hair 1 to 3 times and then you're good to go. You can re-apply as necessary.

This is an affordable hair fragrance that I'd recommend to anyone looking to get into hair fragrances.

Jonathan Product Dirt Candle - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

If you couldn't tell by my review the other day on some Jonathan Product hair products, I am in LOVE with the scent of their Dirt hair line. I guess I'm not alone, because they have a candle dedicated to that very scent. And of course I needed it! It smells amazing - that's without question - I just wish it was larger! Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Jonathan Product Dirt Candle

Jonathan Product Dirt Candle Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $10.00 (2.1 oz full size). Available on the Jonathan Product website, on the beauty.com website, and at other retails that sell Jonathan Product.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!!

The Dirt Candle is an extension of the Dirt styling collection. The unique blend of waxes is infused with almond and sweet vanilla bean. Great for the home, hotel room, or gifting. A delicious blend of rich almond and citrus lemon, layered with sweet honey and peach enveloped in a base of warm sweet vanilla bean.

Bright flame, no sooth and no smoke. Perfect blend of soy, vegetable wax, paraffin and essence. Burn time is 20 hours.

I'm absolutely in LOVE with the Dirt line of hair care products from Jonathan Product. They smell incredible - especially Silky Dirt - and I've always loved the scent for as long as I can remember. I guess I'm not alone in obsessing over the scent because a candle was dedicated to that very scent!

This candle is perfection when it comes to the scent; it makes my room smell so, so, so good and I am so happy with it (and plan to get more). My one complaint is it's not very large; I want this in a larger size - like the larger size candles you can get at Bath & Body Works; yeah, I want even larger than that. That's just how much I love this scent! Would recommend!!

Maneteeze Hair Perfume in Haut Mess - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Who doesn't like their hair to smell good? I know I do. For me, shampoos and conditioners can smell good but don't really last in the hair. Hair products don't always smell nice either and seem to fade quickly, so I know some people use perfume in their hair. Why not try the Maneteeze Hair Perfume's out instead? I have one in the scent Haut Mess - which is a chocolate/caramel, delicious dessert smelling one -- but they have other scents if that's not your style. I really have been liking it; as it's not over whelming and makes my hair smell delicious!

Maneteeze Hair Perfume
Scent: Haut Mess

Maneteeze Hair Perfume Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $34.00 (50 ml full size). Available on the Maneteeze website and at select boutiques. For a complete list of retailers click here.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Maneteeze Hair Perfumes contain a higher concentrate than average perfumes, but are much gentler for use on the hair. The long lasting fresh scent is noticeable for up to 12 hours, and even helps to extend the lift of a blow dry. Only a couple of spritzes provide all-over coverage without leaving a greasy consistency or drying out hair.

Sulfate and paraben free. Peta approved. Suitable for all hair types and will not leave an oily residue or dry out your hair. This will not conflict with your other body fragrance, so you can wear your perfume/body spray on your body and use this in your hair and you'll be good to go.

Available in three scents:

  • Haut Mess (the one I have, and the one featured in this blog post): This luscious mix of chocolate, caramel and desert-like scents engulf hair. Three sprays of this decadent hair perfume will sweeten any mood.
  • Black Widow: This husky fog of luxury contains enchanting undertones of dark amber for a smoky, intoxicating scent. The aroma has bite that will leave every one wanting more.
  • Social Butterfly: Sweet, soft vanilla infused luxury. This delicious hair fragrance matches a busy, bubbly life.
I thought Haut Mes was right up my alley. I'm sensitive to smells - especially florals - but have a love affair with anything chocolate scented. I have a chocolate body spray and a caramel body spray I got at Victoria's Secret years and years ago and I still love using them to this day. This hair perfume smells so good - like chocolate desert or something - but it's not overly sweet and it's certainly not strong.

I spray this about 4 times on my hair; I flip my hair over, spray it twice there. Then flip it back to normal and spray it two more times. I don't know if it lasts 12 hours in my hair per say, but it definitely lasts a long time and leaves your hair smelling delicious.

Of course if sweets/desserts aren't your thing then no worries, try one of the other fragrances. Social Butterfly sounds like a good universal scent - since it's vanilla scented - but I also like amber scents so Black Widow sounds good too. Now that I think about it, they all sound good to me! Which scent would you try?
