Boots No. 7 - Stay Perfect Lipstick in Smooth Shiraz & Chinchilla - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I have two shades of lipsticks from Boots No. 7 to share with you in this post - these are their Stay Perfect Lipsticks. The two shades I have are Smooth Shiraz and Chinchilla. Even though these are the same lipstick formula, they went on completely different. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after all the pics!

Boots No. 7 Stay Perfect Lipstick Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $9.99 (0.1 oz full size). Available on the Boots website, at Target, at Walgreens, on the Drugstore.com website, and everywhere else Boots No. 7 cosmetics are sold.
My Rating: 3 out of 5 Kisses

Boots No. 7 Stay Perfect Lipstick will ensure your pout packs a punch! Available in 8 trendy shades, this long-lasting lip color has been designed to stay in place for up to 8 hours, giving an intense color-rich finish in just one coat.

The shade Smooth Shiraz looks like it's be a really pretty pink from how it looks in the tube, but I was disappointed with the way it looks on the lips. On the lips, even when swatched, it is more of a sheer pink with frost. It didn't apply evenly to the lips either, which you can see in the lip swatch.

On the other hand, the shade Chinchilla applied really nicely to the lips, and it also didn't match the color in the tube as it looks on the lips - which in the case of the shade Chinchilla is a good thing. So I'd say these lipsticks are sheer and lighter in tone than they look in the tube.

I liked the formula, but I wasn't blown away. The colors I think were the biggest issue for me -- they just weren't flattering. I'd probably like to try these in other colors and I wish they were cream finishes.

Boots No. 7 - Natural Blush Tint Powder in Coral Flush - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I have another drugstore blush to share with you in this post. This one is the Boots No. 7 Natural Blush Tint Powder, which I have in the very pretty shade Coral Flush. This blush gives you a natural tint of color for a pretty flush on the cheeks. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Boots No. 7 - Natural Blush Tint Powder
Shade: Coral Flush

Boots No. 7 Natural Blush Tint Powder Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $9.99 (0.1 oz full size). Available on the Boots No. 7 website, at Target, at Drugstore.com and everywhere else Boots No. 7 cosmetics are sold.
My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Kisses

This light powder formulation is soft and fine to provide a natural finish. Light-diffusing particles brighten the cheeks while vitamin E and pro-vitamin B5 help moisturize and care for the skin, leaving it with a lovely luminous glow.

Available in 5 shades: Coral Flush, Spice, Honey, Cool Pink, and Soft Damson. I have the shade Coral Flush - which is a gorgeous shade for those of us with light to medium complexions.

I love the shade Coral Flush - it's really pretty and goes well with my skintone. The formula of the blush is okay; it's soft and smooth to the touch, but is slightly powdery - which isn't too bad because it doesn't look powdery on the skin.

The swatch shows the color a bit heavier/darker than it really is on your skin -- these blushes give you a natural tint of color, without intense pigmentation, so it's easy to look naturally flushed. I'm not a big blush person, although I have a lot, but I did like this blush - not sure any of the other shades really appeal to me so unless they come out with more this will probably be the only one from the line I get but I'd still recommend checking these out if you're looking for a blush that gives you a pretty tint of color.

A few Boots lip products: Poppy King Lipgloss, Lip Glace, Almond Lip Balm - pics, swatches, reviews

Hello, Beautiful!

I have three lip products to share with you from the brand Boots. Their Boots No.7 Poppy King Lipgloss in the shade Glamour (which I'm loving), their Boots No. 7 Lip Glace in the shade Marshmallow (very shiny), and their Boots Extracts Almond Lip Balm (a hydrating jar of lip balm).

Check out my pics, swatches, info, and reviews... click on pics to view them larger.

Cost/Availability: $9.99 (0.2 fl oz full size). Available on the Boots website, at Target, and everywhere else Boots products are sold.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses

Boots No. 7 Has collaborated with lipstick legend Poppy King to create an exclusive range of lipsticks to change women's views of lip color forever.

Available in 7 shades. The shade I have, Glamour, is a popsicle-like color with how it's sheer but noticeable.

I loved the formula a lot; it went on smooth, even, and felt comfortable on my lips. The color was sheer but noticeable, and my lips were shiny.

Really, really liked this gloss; one of the best drugstore brand glosses I've tried in a long time; I want them all! I'd highly recommend checking it out!

Boots No. 7 - Lip Glace
Shade: Marshmallow

Cost/Availability: $9.99 (0.4 oz full size). Available on the Boots website, at Target, and everywhere else Boots products are sold.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Sheer, non-sticky, super shiny color that moisturizes, plumps and protects lips. New easy to use pack with flexible soft silicon tip for super smooth application.

I did find this gloss to be super, super shiny. It goes on smooth and it has sheer color, but it felt a bit thick on my lips. It wasn't sticky at all, just felt a bit thick - although I guess I could have applied too much.

Available in 6 shades. I liked the shade Marshmallow, but now want to try it out in the shade Jelly Bean.

Boots Extracts - Almond Lip Balm

Boots Extracts Almond Lip BalmInfo & Review:
Cost/Availability: $6.99 (0.33 oz full size). Available on the Boots website, at Target, and everywhere else Boots products are sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

An intensively moisturizing lip balm.

I thought this lip balm went on waxy at first, but within seconds the heat from my lips (and fingers) melted the lip balm into my lips. Made my lips feel soft, smooth and they were even slightly shiny. It has a balm to liquid feel with application.

Loved the almond scent, but there are other scents available. I'd recommend this lip balm!
