FRAAS The Dottie Scarf, in Pink, for spring/summer 2014 - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

FRAAS has come out with another spring line of scarves that are both colorful, lightweight and stylish. Last spring/summer, they came out with their gorgeous animal print scarves, which I still love and use! For spring/summer 2014 they've introduced The Dottie Scarf. Available in five shades: pink, green, taupe, turquoise, and yellow. I was sent The Dottie Scarf in pink to try out, and I love this one too! Check out all the product info, along with my full review, after the pics!

Product Info...
The Dottie Scarf is a clear winner that brightens and delights every wardrobe. The Spring/Summer 2014 collection has many unique and striking options, including The Dottie Scarf. This scarf measures 28x76 inches.

Available in five shades: pink, yellow, green, turquoise and taupe. Each shade is bursting with a clear and flattering hue, and fresh white polka dots. The polyester drapes beautifully and can also be worn as a wrap.

My Review...
Who doesn't love polka dots? They are an easy print for anyone to wear and pair that with a pop of color and you've got a perfect lightweight scarf for spring and summer. Easily adds a pop of color to any outfit. Great if you've got darker clothes that could use a fresh update for spring.

Some people don't see a point of a scarf in spring and summer, but these are not the heavier, warmer scarves that are used in colder months. These are very lightweight and airy. They make a great accessory, and can come in handy when you're working in air conditioning and just want that extra bit of warmth without throwing on a cardigan.

This scarf does have frayed/unfinished looking edges, which I'm not normally a big fan of but for some reason it works with this scarf. Makes it a bit more casual. I still love the FRAAS scarf from last spring/summer a bit more, only because I'm a sucker for animal prints like that, but I will absolutely get a lot of great use from this one as well.

Final Thoughts...
If you're looking for a great scarf for spring summer with a fun polka dot print, then look no further - the FRAAS The Dottie Scarf is an ideal match for you!

FRAAS Reversible Scarf Fall 2013 - Dots/Burnout - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

In April 2012 I reviewed the FRAAS Animal Print Scarf - a nice lightweight scarf in a super cute leopard print. I have another FRAAS scarf to share with you today - their Fall 2013 Reversible Scarf. One side is a dot print while the other side is a burnout print. Available in a few shade options, I have Purple. Check out my full review, including all the info on this scarf, after the pics!

FRAAS Reversible Scarf Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $40.00. Available worldwide at department stores and specialty stores as well as online retailers. Select styles are available on the FRAAS website and on Amazon.com. You can also call directly 212-575-0191.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

This FRAAS Reversible Scarf is part of their Fall 2013 collection. The style number is 060607 in case you are trying to find it online or if you call to order.

This scarf reverses so that two distinctive looks are possible and comes in four flattering shades: Purple (which is what I have), Petrol (a teal/blue), Dark Red, and Black. It is a super-soft mix of viscose and acrylic. Size is 14"x72".

I was sent this scarf to test drive, just like my last FRAAS scarf, and I didn't like this style as much as the animal print one - however, I do think it's a nice warm, soft feeling scarf without being so warm that you can't wear it inside. I like the dot/burnout reversible option. The color would be a fun contrast against neutral color coats and other fall styles.

Overall, I find the quality to be really nice and I liked the scarf and if you're looking for a higher quality scarf then check out the scarves from FRAAS!

FRAAS Ruffle Tech Gloves in gray - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

If you own a smartphone then you'll want to own a pair of Tech Gloves so your hands can stay warm but still be able to use your touch-screen phone! FRAAS (which makes great scarves; I've reviewed a great leopard print scarf here), has a line of Tech Gloves. I have them in gray, but they are available in other color choices.

FRAAS Ruffle Tech Gloves Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: About $30.00 (per pair). Available at specialty stores throughout the country, or you can order directly from FRAAS by calling 212-575-0191. Click here to find a FRAAS retailer near you.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

The rising interest in chic cold weather accessories is evident everywhere. Fashion-savvy women are wrapped in great looking scarves and accenting their looking with interesting hats and smart glvoes. FRAAS is on target with a versatile collection of tech glove options.

Technology has entered the fashion accessories scene with touch screen compatible gloves. FRAAS offers 3 chic options - retailing for about $30 a pair: a long scruch, a ruffle and a bow with 22 options total in all colors. I have the ruffle tech gloves - which is style 060579 - in the color gray (one of my favorite colors). The ruffle tech gloves are available in gray, blue-grape, black, rose, chartreuse, camel, teal, and dark red.

Keeping with cutting-edge design, FRAAS introduces these gloves with tech finger tips that are so well-matched to the glove, they are almost undetectable. A stylish, lady-like approach to touch screen compatible gloves.

I really liked the material of these gloves and the cute ruffle trim, which add a girly touch. The gray color is perfect for me, as it's one of my favorite colors and it will go with any coat I have (just about). They will keep your hands very warm too, which I got to test out over a weekend at an outdoor flea market in 33 to 50 degree weather.

Your thumb, index and middle fingers of the gloves have the touch points that allow you to use your touch screen phone. I was impressed with how well they worked, especially because it didn't seem like it would work (the material of the touch points felt the same; just the fabric wasn't as tightly wound there).

I did run into a small problem with one of the fingers; the middle finger on my right glove had a thread come out and it just got worse from there. The first time it happened I cut the loose thread and was good to go, but another came out. In all fairness, I was really putting these to use (taking out products, setting things up, etc. at a flea market) so I probably snagged it on something to start the problem. Other than that, I really liked these gloves!

These gloves are a must-have for anyone with a touch-screen phone. Makes a perfect gift too! I'd recommend picking up a pair!

FRAAS Animal Print Scarf - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I was send the FRAAS Animal Print Scarf to test out and review and I have to say, it's super cute! It's a really cute leopard print - the pink, brown and cream go perfectly together. It's sheer and light enough to wear indoors if you like to accessorize that way, but also good for outdoor use in the spring when the days are warm but the nights are cool. It's pretty large in size, 28" x 80", so you can wear it as a scarf or as a wrap.

This scarf is super cute! The pattern and color combo is just my style -- if you couldn't tell from my blog, pink is my favorite color!

I also like the size of this scarf because I can wear it a number of ways. Thin enough to wear in the spring or even indoors. It's good quality, even being sheer, and feels comfortable around your neck.

Overall, a super cute, good quality scarf that I'd recommend!
