VitaBath Holiday Duo in Sweet Pink Peppermint - body wash & body lotion - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Before the holidays are over, get your hands on the Vitabath holiday duos! They come as a body wash and a body lotion for $16.99, instead of $21.50 - which is a 25% savings. They are a nice size too - each are 16.9 fl oz! Available in three new exclusive holiday fragrances: Cheery Red Apple, Spice is Nice, and Sweet Pink Peppermint - which is the scent I have. I love the scent! Check out my full review, including all the product info, after the pics!

VitaBath Holiday 2013 Duo
Includes: Body Wash and Body Lotion

VitaBath Holiday 2013 Duo Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $16.99 (16.9 oz each full size). Available on the VitaBath website, at Walgreens (didn't see the duos online), at Ulta (didn't see the duos online), and everywhere else VitaBath products are sold. I recently saw these duo's at my local Peebles store.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Exclusive new fragrances at a value you'll love! Makes a perfect treat for anyone on your holiday gift list, even yourself! Each set contains a perfect pairing includes a moisturizing sulfate & paraben-free body wash, as well as a hydrating body lotion in a limited edition 500ml/16.9 fl oz size bound together with holiday cheer.

Available in three holiday scent duos:
  • Sweet Pink Peppermint
  • Cheery Red Apple
  • Spice Is Nice

I have this duo in Sweet Pink Peppermint - which I love the smell of. I do find the body wash has a stronger hit of the scent, where as the lotion is very subtly scented.

The Sweet Pink Peppermint scent smells like a really nice peppermint scent with a hint of chocolate.

I've already reviewed both the body wash and the body lotion in the past, so I won't go into details on that - just CLICK HERE to read my previous review on these products. I had the Wild Red Cherry body wash, Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar Body Wash, and Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar Body Lotion.

I will say I am LOVING this duo. More so than the regular line of VitaBath - mostly due to the scent. It is perfect for the holidays/winter season and the lotion is so subtly scented that I can get a hint of peppermint on my skin without competing with any perfume I may choose to wear that day. However, in a way, I think I do wish the lotion had a bit more of a strong scent in case I did want to smell sweetly scented.

Seeing as how you save 25% when you get this duo, it certainly is a nice bonus. If you're looking for a great gift under $20 for someone on your gift list - even yourself - this may be just what you were looking for!

Now let me know what you think...

VitaBath Body Wash & Body Lotion - Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar & Wild Red Cherry - pics, swatches, reviews

Hello, Beautiful!

I have two body washes and one body lotion from VitaBath to share with you in this post. I really like the Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar scent - if you like vanilla scents then you'll like this one! They're affordable drugstore products too. I wasn't as big of a fan of the Wild Red Cherry scent, which to me smelled a bit more like cough drops. However, they are nice products and there are a lot of great scents to choose from. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

VitaBath Body Wash
Scents: Wild Red Cherry, Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar

VitaBath Body Wash Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: About $7.95 to $9.99 depending where you shop (12 oz full size). Available on the VitaBath website, at Ulta, at Walgreens, and everywhere else VitaBath products are sold. Click Here to find a retailer near you.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

VitaBath is known for luxurious lather, so they're serious about suds and bubbles. While most sulfate and paraben-free products leave something to be desired, just a small drop of this luxe formula will create an ultra-moisturizing lather to revive your skin. This super skin nourishing formula is also free of propylene glycol, DEA, TEA, triclosan, silicone, and mineral oils.

These body washes do foam up nicely for being sulfate-free, but you need to use more than "a drop" to get the job done - at least for me. You don't need a lot though.

I have the Wild Red Cherry and the Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar scents. I'm not a big fan of the Wild Red Cherry - it reminded me too much of a cherry cough drop and not really that fresh, juicy cherry scent that you would want from a cherry scented product. Maybe because of the Cherry Blossom Extract that is in it which is throwing the scent off for me. You may love it though, but my nose didn't really like this one. However, the Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar smells great!

I really liked this lotion and would recommend. I want to try the Dreamy Pink Frosting with Sweet Almond Oil and the Heavenly Coconut Creme with Coconut Oil next!

There are other scents in their fragrances collection. Basically, they have four fragrance collections and four scents within each collection.

Fruit Fanatic:
  • Green Apple & White lily with Cornflower Extract
  • Pomegranate & Blood Orange with Orange Peel Extract
  • Grapefruit Vanilla with Grapefruit Extract
  • Wild Red Cherry with Cherry Blossom Extract

In Bloom:
  • Nouveau Rose with Evening Primrose Oil
  • Ivy & Lily with Chamomile Extract
  • Asian Orchid & Coconut with Angelica Extract
  • Beach Blossom with Passion Flower Extract

Cupcake Couture:
  • Dreamy Pink Frosting with Sweet Almond Oil
  • Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar with Shea Butter
  • Heavenly Coconut Creme with Coconut Oil
  • Luscious Lemon Creme with Lemon Extract

  • Citron Leaves with Lemongrass Extract
  • Cucumber & White Tea with Cucumber Extract
  • Green Tea & Sage with Aloe Vera

Moisturize your skin with their new lotion formulated with aloe vera, safflower and olive oils for silky soft skin. This hydrating lotion enriches skin with luxurious moisture and a delicate scent. Free from parabens, propylene glycol, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, and synthetic color.

I have this in the Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar scent and I love it! I've been using it after I shower with the Scrumptious Vanilla Sugar Body Wash on days I really want to get a kiss of vanilla scent to my skin. Hydrates well and absorbs nicely with not greasy residue.

I really liked this lotion and would recommend. I want to try the Dreamy Pink Frosting with Sweet Almond Oil and the Heavenly Coconut Creme with Coconut Oil next!
