Gorgeous Cosmetics Colour Flash Glitter in Opal - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I may be almost 30 years old, but I do believe I'm a glitter-aholic for life. That being said, the Gorgeous Cosmetics Colour Flash Glitter in the shade Opal is sooooo pretty! The photos do not do this shade justice! I don't have anything like it in my collection and it really looks beautiful on the eyes. And always remember, glitter for your nails and glitter for your eyes can be two very different products; always make sure your glitter is eye safe. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Gorgeous Cosmetics Colour Flash Glitter
Shade: Opal

Gorgeous Cosmetics Colour Flash Glitter Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $19.00 (3 g full size). Available on the Gorgeous Cosmetics website, on the Nordstrom website, on the BeautyBar.com website, and everywhere else Gorgeous Cosmetics are sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses!

These loose, tiny, rounded particles of glitter are specially designed for use around the eye area. Intensely reflective, Colour Flash guarantees high shine and bold results. For best results, adhere with Gorgeous Cosmetics Glitz Fix or mix with Cake Liner Sealant.

This is best applied over a glitter base - something sticky is a must for loose glitter! Products like MAC Fix+ or any other type of makeup setting spray/prep spray that you would spray onto your brush first just won't work with this type of glitter the way you will want them too. I highly recommend investing in a glitter base if you're into wearing glitters. Of course you could use an eyeshadow primer itself, but as you can see from the swatches it doesn't stick nearly as dense or as good. It also falls off quicker, where as a glitter primer/base really grabs hold of the glitter and helps to prevent fall-out.

Currently available in 8 shades. I have the shade Opal and wow is it gorgeous! One of my favorite glitter shades ever! I think from the other shades, I'd add Diamond and Icicle to my wish list. I'll insert a photo now of the eight shades they have available (image taken from the Gorgeous Cosmetics website).

The only negative I could say about this is the price point. $19 for a pot of glitter is quite the steep price but I am no stranger to that price tag for a glittery product. I know the price point may seem high for a glitter, but if you really would like to try this then I'd recommend waiting for a sale or coupon code. If you are a Beauty Bar Sample Society member I'm pretty sure you can use your $15 off $30 code on anything they sell on their website (but I can't remember).

Overall, I really loved the color like crazy. I do think $19 is a bit much but I definitely recommend the shade Opal! If you're a glitter-aholic like myself, then you need to check out the shades from Gorgeous Cosmetics!

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick in Paris - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

In July I first posted on the Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick, which I had in the shade Bombshell. Then at the end of August I posted two more shades: Bloom and Lola. Now I have yet another shade to share with you: Paris. Paris is probably my favorite so far of all the shades, because it's the most "everyday" shade for me. I plan to do a few videos in the near future about Gorgeous Cosmetics so show my collection with swatches, so stay tuned for those on my YouTube channel! For now, check out my review on the Paris lipstick from Gorgeous Cosmetics...

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick
Shade: Paris

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $25.00 (0.14 oz full size). Available on the Gorgeous Cosmetics website, on the Nordstrom website, and on the BeautyBar.com website.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

Gorgeous Cosmetics lipsticks are fine in texture and feel luxuriously soft and light-weight on your lips. Remarkably high color pigment content means that color lasts reliably for hours without touch-ups. Enriched with emollients to nourish your lips.

Currently available in 30 shades. I have shades Paris, Bloom, Lola and Bombshell. There are still more shades on my wish list, so I'm sure you'll see more in the future on my blog (my wish list includes Bare, Pink Flip, Musk Stick, Muse, Tango and Quinn).

I won't go too much into detail about these lipsticks, because I've reviewed them in the past, but I can say that I really like the formulation. They go on smooth and feel comfortable on my lips. Very nicely pigmented too. The shade Paris is a creme medium-pink; very "everyday" for me with just a little bit more to it.

In fact, I'll insert pics of all the shades I have here from the previous posts -- I'll have to do a comparison post at some point in the future too (aside from the video I have planned).

As you can see, shades Bombshell and Bloom has some shimmer to them. Lola is a matte creme. Paris is a creme.

I love the shade Paris and would recommend this shade if you're the type that likes that "my lips but better" type of shades. This is a great neutral deeper medium pink without being bright, dark, or too light --- it's just right. Very happy with this and would recommend!

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lashes in Miss Cheeky - pics, before & after, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Back in July I reviewed the Gorgeous Cosmetics Madama Lash Eyelashes in the Hepburn style. In this post I have another style to share with you, the Miss Cheeky style. I like this style a lot more, and plan to cut them down just a bit so they're not as full on the inner corner but other than that these are a great pair of full, flirty lashes! Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Gorgeous Cosmetics
Madam Lash Eyelashes
Style: Miss Cheeky

Gorgeous Cosmetics Madam Lash Eyelashes in Miss Cheeky Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $15.00 (per pair). Available on the Gorgeous Cosmetics website and on the Nordstrom website.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses

Enjoy lush, beautiful lashes and experience the dramatic effect gorgeous lashes have. Add sparkle to your eyes and take your look from ordinary to extraordinary in a wink! From natural beauty to outrageously glam, Madam Lash professional eyelashes have a style for everyone.

These are the Miss Cheeky style faux lashes. Described on their website as full and thick and super black, these lashes are great for a night out.

With proper care, these lashes can be re-used for up to 10 times. Glue is included (it's taped on the under side of the lash box, not shown in the photos), but I prefer to use the Duo lash glue with all my false lashes.

I liked the Miss Cheeky style a lot more than the Hepburn style that I tried before, but I still think I will cut these just a little so they're not as full on the inner corner. But a lot of times you'll need to cut your false lashes to fit your eyes to get the best look and wear from them.

I really like the Gorgeous Cosmetics line, and their lashes are becoming a fun favorite! I'd recommend checking them out because there are a bunch of styles to choose from! Still have my eye on some other styles - like Mischievous, Miss Naughty, Morticia, Von Tesse, and more!

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick in Bloom, Lola - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Last month I reviewed the Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick in the shade Bombshell; I'm back with two more lipstick shades: Bloom and Lola (and hint hint, you may see the shade Paris coming soon). You can now buy Gorgeous Cosmetics on the Nordstrom website, and you can get a better idea of the shades that way. Check out my review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Shade: Lola

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipstick Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $25.00 (0.14 oz full size). Available on the Gorgeous Cosmetics website and on the Nordstrom website.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Gorgeous Cosmetics Lipsticks are fine in texture and feel luxuriously soft and light-weight on your lips. Remarkably high color pigment content means that color lasts reliably for hours without touch-ups. Enriched with emollients to nourish your lips.

Currently available in 30 shades. I've reviewed the shade Bombshell last month, and now I have shades Bloom and Lola.

In my last review, my one con was that it was hard to get a good sense of the shades on the Gorgeous Cosmetics website. Now that you can purchase them on the Nordstrom website you can get a slightly better idea of what the shade looks like. You still can't really tell if a shade is a creme or shimmer, but you still get a bigger picture of what the shade seems to be.

These lipsticks are really pigmented, go on smoothly and feel comfortable on your lips. I will say the shade Lola was very matte and felt a bit dry on my lips, but if you apply a clear lip balm before, and even on top if you feel you need it, you'll be good to go.

As I hinted at the top of this post, you may see the shade Paris next, which may be the shade I'm most excited about so far. I still have other shades on my wish list (of course), such as Pink Flip, Musk Stick, Muse, Tango, and maybe even Quinn as a fun shade. What shades do you lust after?
