Lancome Gloss In Love Lipgloss in Blink Pink - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

If you like the Lancome Rouge in Love lipsticks, then you've gotta try the Lancome Gloss In Love lipglosses. They have a click-close lid with a unique curved doe-foot applicator. Available in really pretty, wearable shades. I have the shade Blink Pink, which is a great everyday neutral peachy coral pink. Check out my full review, and all the product info, after the pics.

Lancome Gloss In Love Lipgloss
Shade: 312 Blink Pink

Lancome Gloss In Love Lipgloss Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $27.00 (0.20 oz full size). Available on the Lancome website, at Sephora, at Macys, at Nordstorm, and everywhere else Lancome is sold.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

The first Lancome gloss that truly loves your lips: unprecedented shine wraps lips with color and addictive comfort. This gloss combines color with 6 hours of moisture in an easy click-to-open package. The new expert applicator hugs lips, resulting in a smooth and line-free vinyl lip look. Comes in a range of sheer to medium coverage shades. Currently available in 18 shades.

I have the shade Blink Pink - which is a really pretty, everyday color. Although I will say if you're lips are chapped even a little this shade will make it look worse. I'd also like to try Glittermania, Flash n Fuchsia, Rose Oscar, and Pink Pampille. In fact, I'm going to get Pink Pampille asap!

This gloss really does go on nicely and feel comfortable on the lips. Non-sticky. Beautiful shine and pretty color, these glosses are quickly becoming my new fav! The unique curved applicator flawlessly applies this gloss to your lips for a perfect application every time.

So far, I'm loving this gloss and would highly recommend!

Lancome La Laque Fever Ultimate Long Lasting Full Color Lipshine in Lucent Nude - swatches, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

In this post I'll share with you the Lancome La Laque Fever Ultimate Long Lasting Full Color Lipshine. I have this in the shade Lucent Nude - which is a really pretty nude. This lip color, according to Lancome's website, says it lasts up to 8 hours. It certainly does last a long time, so if you're looking for a long-lasting lip gloss then you may want to give this one a try!

Lancome La Lacque Fever Ultimate Long Lasting Full Color Lipshine Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $27.00 (0.20 fl oz full size). Available on the Lancome website, at Sephora, at Macy's and everywhere else Lancome is sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

An impossibly sensuous lip lacquer that combines vibrant concentrated color and unprecedented shine in one stroke. From the moment of application, densely pixilated pearls deliver multi-dimensional shine that truly holds, so you'll be touch-up free for up to 8 hours. And the soft-sculpt applicator smoothes on a perfectly even layer of impeccable color, and contours lips so they look lush, full and completely kissable.

Available in 22 shades (on the Lancome website; less shades available on others). I have Lucient Nude, which is a pinky beige nude; no shimmer but really nice shine. I like it a lot for a nude. I thought it would be darker based on the packaging but was pleasantly surprised by the shade when swatched and on my lips. A very pretty nude - great for smokey eye looks because it doesn't over power you lips and it also doesn't wash out your lips.

The applicator is nice; I liked the way it applied this lip color. It did have a slight sticky/tacky feel - but most lip glosses that have that are longer lasting.

This gloss did have a perfumy scent/taste; I call it the Lancome scent/taste. If you have any of their products then you know what I mean. It's not over powering but something I definitely noted.

I do find this gloss sticks around for awhile; maybe not 8 hours long but it certainly out performs normal lip glosses!

Overall, I liked this gloss and would love to try this is other shades.

Lancome Hypnose Star Show Stopping Volume Mascara - pics, before & after, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Lancome's new Hypnose Star Show Stopping Mascara gives lashes that va-va-voom look with volume, length, and curl. It has a unique dual-sided brush to get lots of volume! I liked this mascara, as it gave me a faux lash look.

Check out my pics, swatches, before & after, info, and review... click on pics to view them larger.

Lancome Hypnose Star Show Stopping Mascara Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $28.00 (1 fl oz full size). Available on the Lancome website, at Sephora, and everywhere else Lancome cosmetics are sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Get lashes that have intense volume and pretty curl with Lancome's new Hypnose Star Show Stopping Mascara. This mascara dresses lashes in intense volume, unfolding a new vision of glamour inspired by Betty Boop and top model Daria Werbowy. The formula's "black-diamond effect" imparts a glossy gel-like finish. The dual-action brush has a flat side for optimizing product deposit at the lash line while the rounded side separates, defines and lengthens.

This mascara has a new dual-sided brush, which was easy to adjust to but may need a little practice for some people. If you need any help at all Lancome has a how-to video on their website.

I thought this mascara went on great for the first coat but after that it did get a little clumpy on my lashes. The photos shown are with three coats, although two is really all you need. At 2 coats I needed to use a lash comb to get rid of some clumps, but it wasn't an overly clumpy mess. It has fairly smooth and even application, with just a little clean up using a lash comb - which took care of the clumps (I just didn't fully de-clump for the photos so you could see some of the clumpy-ness).

The second time I applied this mascara I only used 2 coats and I had much better results than shown in the before and after photos. Then I used it a few more times and I've since become a fan of this mascara. I like to layer my mascaras a lot, meaning I will use one brand of mascara for a first coat then another mascara for a 2nd coat, and sometimes I use up to 4 different mascaras for my lashes. I've come to like using Mally's Volumizing Mascara for a first coat, then Lancome's Hypnose Star for a 2nd coat and my lashes come out flirty and gorgeously beautiful!

I love the deep, rich black shade and loved the final look to my lashes. It gives me a faux lash look with length, volume, and pretty curl.

I'm a fan of this mascara and would recommend you give it a try and see if it's right for you!

Total Beauty Collection for HSN 9-Piece Sampler: pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

HSN now offers a beauty sampler collection, which they call their Total Beauty Collection for HSN. I decided to give it a try, since it was $19.99, free shipping, and it includes a $10 coupon towards a future beauty purchase (making this just $9.99). HSN lists this as a $51.96 value, but I come up with a $56.97 value.

It's not the most exciting or biggest value sampler I've tried, but I do like it -- mostly because I am a beauty box/beauty sampler whore; I really can't get enough of them!

If you're interested, you can still purchase this shipment on HSN's website for $19.99 with free shipping.

Check out everything in my shipment... click on pics to view them larger.

Now I'll break it down, product-by-product...

BOSCIA Luminizing Black Mask
  • MY THOUGHTS: I already use and like Boscia's Luminizing Black Mask, so it was nice to receive a mini tube -- especially since I'm almost out of my full sized tube. This is a nice mask that does a good job at pulling out impurities. I like to use it first on the days I do several masks because I feel it really gets my pores clean and ready for all other masks. Peeling it off can be a bit uncomfortable, but it's really not that bad, especially if you get the edges of the mask just right (so they're easy to peel and nothing gets left behind).
  • FULL SIZE: 2.8 oz @ $34.00
  • SIZE I RECEIVED: 0.35 oz
  • VALUE: $4.25

CAROL'S DAUGHTER Monoi Shampoo & Conditioner
  • MY THOUGHTS: I've never tried a Carol's Daughter hair product before, so I am looking forward to trying this out. However, I think it's a bit disappointing to just get these sample packets (something normally free) instead of mini bottles. Especially because sample packets of shampoo and conditioner are such a pain in the ass to deal with after you open them (assuming you don't use them completely up in one use, which I wouldn't with these because I could get 2 to 3 uses out of them). Other than that, I'm happy to try this out.
  • FULL SIZE: 8.4 oz @ $18.00 (shampoo) -- 8.4 oz @ $20.00 (conditioner)
  • SIZE I RECEIVED: 0.24 oz each sample packet
  • VALUE: $0.51 (shampoo) + $0.57 (conditioner) = $1.08 total

PRAI Ageless Throat & Decolletage Creme
  • MY THOUGHTS: This is a product that I really don't need, considering I'm just 28 years old -- however, every time I see the before and after pics on HSN's on-air presentations I get excited about this. It sells out a lot too on HSN, so it must work really well. I personally don't like the smell of this; way too strong of a fragrance. This is a product I may try just for the hell of it, or I may give it to someone who could use it and really test it out (since there is enough in this jar to see an improvement).
  • FULL SIZE: 1 oz @ $29.95
  • SIZE I RECEIVED: 0.5 oz
  • VALUE: $14.98

AMIKA Obliphica Oil Treatment
  • MY THOUGHTS: I already have and use amika's Obliphica Oil Treatment. It's nice to have another sample bottle, which I can take when traveling. I have the full sized version, as well as another sample bottle I received in my October 2011 Birchbox. I really like this oil; it works great in my hair and I like the scent. I did a full blog post about it here.
  • FULL SIZE: 3.38 oz @ $34.00
  • SIZE I RECEIVED: 0.34 oz
  • VALUE: $3.42

LANCOME Hypnose Drama Mascara in Excessive Black
  • MY THOUGHTS: I already have another sample of this mascara (I believe I got it from the Lancome counter), and I've tried it and have been on the fence about this mascara. It's ok, but the brush pulls out way too much product which can quickly make your lashes look like a huge mess. If you wipe the brush off good, and use a lash comb after to make sure it's really combed through, then I do like this mascara.
  • FULL SIZE: 0.22 oz @ $26.00
  • SIZE I RECEIVED: 0.135 oz
  • VALUE: $15.95

INTELLIWHITE Toothpaste
  • MY THOUGHTS: I've never used any Intelliwhite product before; I usually use SuperSmile toothpaste; but I'm always open to try new teeth whitening products.
  • FULL SIZE: 4 oz @ $16.95
  • SIZE I RECEIVED: 1 oz
  • VALUE: $4.24

SIGNATURE CLUB A Precious Moroccan Argan Oil Oasis Day Cream
  • MY THOUGHTS: This is my first Signature Club A product. I think it has a nice texture but I'm not all that much a fan of the scent. Not sure this is something I will use or end up giving away/putting it in my blog sale, but I am open to try it.
  • FULL SIZE: 1.2 oz @ $28.50
  • SIZE I RECEIVED: 0.35 oz
  • VALUE: $8.31

LORAC Lips With Benefits Lipgloss in Chuck
  • MY THOUGHTS: This is a pretty color; a pinky nude with subtle shimmer. It's such a tiny, itty-bitty tube. I don't mind lip gloss mini's, but for some reason I have a pet peeve about mini lip glosses this size. I find they are hard to hold, apply, and way too easy to lose. I usually end up throwing them in one of my lip gloss drawers and forgetting all about them because they are so tiny they get lost in there. However, with that being said, I really do like this lip gloss shade. I look forward to wearing this!
  • FULL SIZE: 0.19 oz @ $18.00
  • SIZE I RECEIVED: 0.05 oz
  • VALUE: $4.74

$10 Coupon
  • MY THOUGHTS: This $10 coupon is what sold me on purchasing this whole sampler. Without it I don't think this sampler would be all that worth it. However, I was a bit disappointed to see you have to spend $30 to use this coupon. I don't remember them saying that on air, and on HSN's website they don't even mention/list this coupon.
  • VALUE: $10.00
