Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Moisture Whip Leave-In Conditioner - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Back in November I reviewed the Garnier Fructis Daily Care Shampoo & Conditioner, which I was pleasantly surprised by and I'm actually almost completely through with them (so they'll likely be in my next empties video, which I am going to film soon -- to see my other empties videos go to my YouTube channel, and please subscribe if you aren't already!). I have another Garnier Fructis product to share with you in this post, the Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Moisture Whip Leave-In Conditioner. Check out my full review, including all the product info, after the pics!

Garnier Fructis - Hydra Recharge
Moisture Whip Leave-In Conditioner

Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Moisture Whip Leave-In Conditioner Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $5.99 depending where you shop (5 fl oz full size). Available at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, on the Drugstore.com website, and everywhere else Garnier Fructis is sold.
My Rating: 3.5 out of 5 Kisses

Weightless, silky hair for up to 2 days!

Experience a powerful new blast of hydration. Hydra Recharge Moisture Whip Leave-In Conditioner's ultra-hydrating treatment formula, with superfruits of goji berry, passion fruit and kiwi, transforms into a conditioning whip for a lightweight infusion of moisture. Hair is ultra-hydrated, weightlessly silkier and softer.

To Use: Apply 1 to 2 pumps to damp hair. Do not rinse. For best results, use with the Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Hair Care System of Shampoo and Conditioner.

This has that same great fruity smell that I have come to love from Garnier Fructis. The texture of this really isn't a whip, at least not in my opinion. When I think of whip, I think of a whip cream type of consistency and this comes out more like a foam. It also wasn't like a true foam - it was more like a liquid foam. Okay, I think I really just butchered that description, but hopefully you'll know what I mean.

I am just so-so on this product. I like it, but I don't love it. I think it smells nice and makes my hair smell good, but I don't think it's the most hydrating product I've used. I even had one day where I think I used too much and my hair actually had a bit of a sticky feel to it, which I didn't like and couldn't wait to wash it out. I use 1 pump now, and only apply from mid shaft to ends - but you could certainly apply from roots to ends if you wanted - I just find, for me, it works better that way.

I think this is one of those hit or miss products that will vary greatly depending on your hair type. It's certainly worth giving a try if you like the Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Shampoo & Conditioner, and if you can use a coupon or catch a sale (or both!). Not sure if I would personally repurchase, but I will likely use up this bottle that I have.

Garnier Fructis Daily Care Shampoo & Conditioner - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Drugstore shampoo and conditioners can be real hits and misses, even within the same brand and even down to the same line (meaning the shampoo may be terrible but the conditioner is great, or vice versa). I recently discovered a major hit when it comes to drugstore shampoo and conditioners: the Garnier Fructis Daily Care Shampoo & Conditioner. This duo makes my hair clean, shiny, soft and silky - very healthy looking. Read my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Garnier Fructis Daily Care Shampoo & Conditioner Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: About $3.99 each, depending where you shop. Available at Target, Walmart, and drugstores nationwide.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

Get an extra boost of strength and energy from the Garnier Fructis Daily Care Shampoo and Daily Care Conditioner. Works deep to strengthen the hair and conditions the surface for a healthy shine. Gentle enough for everyday use. Fortified fruit science; grapefruit antioxidant and natural protein.

I waited a little while to try this shampoo and conditioner because I had some others I was trying out, but once I tried these out they haven't left my shower. They smell great, and even while I'm in the shower my hair feels nice after rinsing them out. I generally leave the conditioner in my hair - which I apply from roots to ends - for at least 2 to 5 minutes. Your hair will feel nicer in the shower - I always think it feels silky.

I do have long, fine thin hair and it doesn't weigh it down even though it feels like it really conditions it. I can let my hair air dry and it still looks decent, and I generally can get pretty good second-day hair after I use this duo.

This has so far been one of my favorite drugstore shampoo and conditioners I've used, and it's pretty affordable (and you can sometimes find coupons online for Garnier products). I know it won't work for everyone, but I would recommend this duo!

Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Bodifier Dry Shampoo - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I think I may have found another drugstore dry shampoo that I actually like - the Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Bodifier Dry Shampoo. This dry shampoo doesn't leave my hair white or gray, and does a nice job at soaking up excess oils while adding in volume with no sticky residue. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Garnier Fructis
Volume Extend Bodifier Dry Shampoo

Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Bodifier Dry Shampoo Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $5.99 is the MSRP but of course price will vary depending where you shop (3.4 oz full size). Available at Walmart (only $4.97 at Walmart), Target, Walgreens, and other drugstores nationwide, as well as Drugstore.com
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Garnier Fructis Volume Extend Bodifier Dry Shampoo is formulated with a blend of orange citrus and grape extract to refresh hair for volume you can see and feel. Excellent for adding va-va-voom or extending the time in between hair washes. This dry shampoo offers an amazing fruit fragrance you'll love with no white powdery residue.

This dry shampoo has a nice fruity scent that isn't overly powerful or overly fruity. I have a sensitive nose and I didn't mind the scent at all.

Doesn't leave any white or gray residue in my hair - which is hard to find, especially with a drugstore dry shampoo. Does a nice job at soaking up the excess oil in my hair on dirty hair days, and also adds some volume without any sticky residue. Made my hair look and feel clean and for an extended amount of time.

I have a lot of issues with dry shampoo working for maybe 30 minutes to an hour and then my hair is back to looking crazy. This dry shampoo seems to last for hours without me noticing any change at all.

Overall, I was pretty happy with this dry shampoo, especially for a drugstore brand. I'd recommend checking this out if you like fruity scents!

Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves -- before & after, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

My surgery is just a few days away and I'm officially nervous. I have so much to do before and limited time to get it done. Because of that, I'm not taking any blog sale orders until at least a week or two after my surgery. Also, I will be posting a HUGE giveaway at some point within the next week. I have plans to post the giveaway on the day of my surgery, but we'll see how things go. Anyhow...

I love using wave sprays to easily change up my hair style. If I don't feel like blow drying my hair that day I'll let it air dry, then use a wave spray and I'm good to go. I've used a few wave sprays over the years, the first being one from Frederick Fekkai (the original), and then the Frederick Fekkai Beach Waves spray. The original was the best, but it was the one hair styling product that would disappear from my home. I went through two bottles and both magically disappeared. I bought the Beach Waves version because I couldn't find the original in stores anymore. I didn't like it as much. Then I tried the Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray, and that really did not do the job at all. I had a coupon for Garnier Fructis styling products, so I tried their version of wave spray: Wonder Waves.

I like it, but I don't love it (nothing will be as good to me as the original Frederick Fekkai wave spray). It works pretty good and with some hair spray on top has good staying power.

Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves
Before & After:
[My hair was still a little wet in the after pic above.]

Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves PRO's & CON's:
PRO's: affordable, works good for the price
CON's: not the best I've tried; no staying power without hairspray on top

Basic stats for Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves:
Formula: liquid; comes out as spray
Wear: not much staying power on its own; good staying power with a hairspray on top
Cost/Availability: About $3.00 to $4.00 depending where you shop (8.5 fl oz full size). Available at Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, etc. Basically anywhere Garnier Fructis products are sold.
Packaging: round bottle; spray-top
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Formula:
A liquid spray made with fruit micro-waxes and texturizing polymers to help shape and hold waves. Lightweight moisturizing humectants and silicone provide soft conditioning without weighing hair down.

Wear:
Not much staying power on its own; you'd have to re-apply throughout the day to refresh your look. If you set it with hair spray (once the wave spray dries completely), it will last longer. A lot will depend on the way your hair normally holds curl. My hair doesn't hold curl well, even though my natural hair (when air dried) has a natural slight wave to it. For those with wavier hair to begin with, or those whose hair holds curl well, may have amazing results with this spray.

Cost/Availability:
About $3.00 to $4.00 depending where you shop (8.5 fl oz full size). Available at Wal-Mart, Target, CVS, etc. Basically anywhere Garnier Fructis products are sold.

Packaging:
Rounded green tinted translucent bottle with spray-top and pull-off cap.

Garnier Fructis Style Wonder Waves Review:
This is a nice product, especially for the price. I like using it but it's not the best I've ever used. Right now it's the only wave spray I'm using.

It has a nice smell; not too strong and fruity. It doesn't last in my hair all that long on its own, but I wait for it to completely dry, then set with hair spray and I get better, longer lasting results.

Overall, yes, I would recommend this!
