Product Info...

Transform your eyes and make them speak volumes with a mascara that nourishes, creates lavishly long lashes, and builds intense depth and drama. An Asian treasure, Japanese Camellia Seed Oil nourishes, moisturizes and strengthens lashes. Aloe Vera adds luster, strengthens, conditions, moisturizes and promotes healthy lash growth. Panthenol, lecithin, Wheat Protein and Beeswax heal, condition and moisturize. Paraben, sulfate and fragrance free, finally, here's a mascara that truly cares about health and beauty.

Thickens, lengthens, and creates all day definition. Conditions and hydrates. Smoothes, strengthens, moisturizes. Run proof, smudge proof, tear proof, sweat proof.

My Review...

This mascara is pretty nice; it gave me good length, some volume, and just good looking lashes in general. It's not the most dramatic look on my lashes, but it still is enough to make a difference.

Has a nice black shade to it, hence the name Blackest Black. I find I like to use this in combination with other mascaras, but I tend to layer my mascaras a lot. I wear this on its own for a more natural look.

What I think I love most is the formula, as this is designed to condition lashes and also strengthen them. Something that just about everyone could use. I'll often use this as a first coat and then if I want a little more va-va-voom I'll go in with another mascara on top.

I do find that if you apply too much it can get a bit clumpy, so I'd recommend wiping off the brush or using a lash comb to get any clumps out (I didn't do either of those for the before & after pics).

Would recommend if you are looking for a mascara that has a more natural formula that is designed to help your lashes as well. If you want drag queen lashes this isn't going to give you that, but it's going to make them look better. Is there is a such thing as your-lashes-but-better - sort of like the "your-lips-but-better" way to describe lip colors?

Global Goddess Beauty Complexion Perfection Duo Foundation & Concealer & Complexion Perfection Japanese Rice Powder - pics, before & after, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I love trying out new foundations, and in this post I have a foundation and concealer duo product please a setting powder to share with you. Both products are from the brand Global Goddess Beauty. First is their Complexion Perfection Duo Skin Nourishing Foundation/Concealer, which I have in the shade 2.0. Second is their Complexion Perfection Japanese Rice Powder with Ginseng. Check out my full review on each product, including all the product info, after the pics!

Global Goddess Beauty
Complexion Perfection Duo
Skin Nourishing Foundation/Concealer
Shade: 2.0

Global Goddess Beauty Complexion Perfection Duo Foundation/Concealer Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $17.99 (0.42 oz full size). Available on the Efficient Living website, at Dermstore (for some reason the Dermstore website is charging a lot more and they only have two shades to choose from), and everywhere else Global Goddess Beauty products are sold.
My Rating: 3 out of 5 Kisses

The three C's of flawless beauty - care, coverage and concealment. The Complexion Perfection Duo creates the perfect balance. It not only takes the guesswork out of achieving a flawless face for any skin tone, but it's also a nourishing skin-saving treatment. Global ingredients like Illippe Butter, Neem and Chamomile soothe your precious skin.

The cream-to-powder foundation glides on to a silky matte finish, while the matching concealer is the perfect emollient formula to minimize wrinkles and shadows.

Available in several shades; I have shade 2.0, which is the 3rd lightest shade and when it showed up in the mail I was a bit worried because the foundation looked too dark and the concealer looked too light. However, the foundation was a near perfect match for me! The concealer is still too light to use for blemishes, but good for brightening under eye circles and my eye lids - then I applied the foundation on top so it wasn't so light on my skin.

They don't show the shades on the Efficient Living website, which is the official retailer for Global Goddess Beauty. But at the time I chose this foundation the Global Goddess Beauty website was up and running and had shown the shades on there (for whatever reason it's no longer available - not sure if it's down for the moment or forever). So choosing your shade may be difficult. To compare, the shade I have is 2.0 and in MAC I am about an NC30/NC25. I usually choose Medium in shades that only have Fair, Light, Medium, Tan or Deep choices. That may help anyone who is interested in getting this foundation/concealer.

This is supposed to be a cream to powder formula, but it never fully set on me. However, I have that problem with nearly all cream foundations because of my combo/oily skintone. During the winter is pretty much the only time cream foundations can work on my skin without issues. If I set this foundation it will work but really cream foundations are not the best choice for oily skin types.

This foundation/concealer duo compact doesn't come with an applicator, nor does it have a space for one like most compacts do. I used the e.l.f. Cosmetics Studio Line Small Stipple Brush to apply and blend this out.

The coverage is light to medium, and at the time I used this my skin was at the worst it's been in months so this had a lot to cover and it just didn't do so. I don't find it very buildable on me, because it never fully sets on my skin, so I would for sure need to use a concealer with this foundation.

I think this would be best for those with normal to dry skin who like light to medium coverage. I would not recommend for oily skin or anyone wanting full coverage.

Global Goddess Beauty
Complexion Perfection Japanese Rice Powder with Ginseng

Global Goddess Beauty Complexion Perfection Japanese Rice Powder Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $11.99 (0.21 oz full size). Available on the Efficient Living website, and everywhere else Global Goddess Beauty products are sold.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Rice Powder has been and still is the oldest of all trade secrets. It absorbs oil and sets makeup perfectly allowing for a beautiful Geisha Goddess complexion.

Soothing to the skin while absorbing excess facial oil. This loose lightweight powder is right for every skin type. Infused with a unique blend of ingredients, including ginseng, help soften fine lines, minimize imperfections, and return skins natural moisture.

This goes on clear, which is why I didn't do a swatch of it. That's one thing I did like about this was that it didn't give my face a white or gray cast. The included puff sponge is small and I don't prefer to use it. I like to use a fluffy brush or my own puff/sponge.

It does a nice job at keeping my oil to a minimum and sets my makeup nicely. The texture isn't super silky smooth or anything like some setting powders can be - I actually found it a bit rougher in texture - but it gets the job done, and for the price point, it's not bad. It blends easily too and kind of gets nicer in texture as you blend it. I guess it's just not as finely milled as other setting powders that I have.

It's a nice setting powder and if you're looking for a setting powder I would suggest you take a look at this one.

Global Goddess Beauty Sizzling Serengeti Tribal Eyeshadow Quad in Eldoret - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I have a beautiful eyeshadow quad to share with you from the brand Global Goddess Beauty. It's their Sizzling Serengeti Tribal Eyeshadow Quad, which I have in the shade Eldoret - gorgeous shimmering nudes. Also available in two other shade quads.

Check out my pics, swatches, info, and review... click on pics to view them larger.

Sizzling Serengeti Tribal Eyeshadow Quad
Shade: Eldoret

Global Goddess Beauty Sizzling Serengeti Tribal Eyeshadow Quad Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $15.99 (0.264 oz full size). Check it out on the Global Goddess Beauty website and purchase this on the Efficient Living website.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

The Sizzling Serengeti Tribal Eyeshadow Quad features four made-to-match shades for creating a color-coordinated look. Use each shade alone, blend or layer to create the finish that best represents you.

Each color is infused with nourishing oils that improve the appearance and health of the eye lids. Baobab oil supplies antioxidant-rich vitamins A, D, E and F to diminish the appearance of fine lines, improve elasticity and neutralize free radicals. Moringa oil allows the shadows to glide easily and evenly over the lids, creating a smoothing and simpler application. The lids are left nourished, protected and gorgeously shaded.

Available in three shade quads. I have the shade quad Eldoret, which is what I call their neutral palette. The shade quad Mombasa is a colorful palette - which contains two more neutral shades and two more colorful shades. The shade quad Arusha is more of a mauve/pink palette. You really can't go wrong with any of them; the hard part will be choosing which shade quad is your favorite.

They have decent pigmentation on their own, but really come to life over a shadow primer. Soft and blendable, these shadows go on smooth. The shade quad Eldoret has four shimmery/metallic finish shades, including a white, a pale yellow gold, a bronze, and a warm golden nude.

I'd love to see even more shade quads, like a set of smokey grays. I recommend checking these shadow quads out!

Global Goddess Beauty - Shine Coconut Amla Revitalizing Hair Treatment & Upgrade Complexion Primer: pics, swatches, reviews

Hello, Beautiful!

In this post I have two products to share with you from the brand Global Goddess Beauty; one for your hair - their Shine Coconut Amla Revitalizing Hair Treatment (which smells amazing) - and one for your face - their Upgrade Complexion Primer (that has a silky texture). Both products were really nice to try out (I had sample packets of both products).

Check out my pics, swatches, info, and review... click on pics to view them larger.

Global Goddess Beauty
Shine Coconut Amla Revitalizing Hair Treatment

Global Goddess Beauty Shine Coconut Amla Revitalizing Hair Treatment Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $20.99 ( full size). Available on the Global Goddess Beauty official web retailer and everywhere else Global Goddess Beauty products are sold.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

For their to-die-for shiny hair, Indian lovelies give themselves a weekly coconut oil scalp massage to promote growth and wash away tress stress. Treat yourself to this extraordinary Indian oil blend of coconut, Amla, henna, and avocado -- each vitamin-enriched oil, with its fatty acids, rejuvenates tired hair while Amla Extract (Vitamin C) and natural henna add volume and shine. Tiny grapeseeds offer oil that protects and helps prevent free radical damage -- the result is a more tamable mane. Rich in Vitamin A, avocado oil penetrates to nourish the scalp, encourage healthy hair growth and quench dryness.

Amla, a "divine" fruit, also known as Indian Gooseberry, is one of the richest natural sources of Vitamin C. Just a touch of this extract on your lifeless locks brings a natural shine, soft texture and rejuvenated health. Hair stays strong with anti-oxidant rich grape seed and neem oils, while coconut oil and henna make each strand extra luscious. It's a miracle for your mane! And don't forget your body -- you can rub leftovers onto your skin.

I loved the smell of this oil -- a delicious coconut scent. You use this prior to shampooing, applying it to dry hair - massaging it into roots and every strand. Leave it on for 30 minutes, then rinse it out and shampoo and condition as normal. You can also use this as an overnight treatment, which is what I prefer. I just apply some to all my hair and put it up in a ponytail. I go to sleep, wake up and rinse it out in the shower just before shampoo.

This treatment made my hair very shiny and easy to manage.

Global Goddess Beauty
Upgrade Complexion Primer

Global Goddess Beauty Upgrade Complexion Primer Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $22.95 (full size). Available on the Global Goddess Beauty official web retailer and everywhere else Global Goddess Beauty is sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Imagine beginning your beauty routine with a drape of liquid silk - one that blurs the line between skin nutrition and visual radiance.

Pearlescent pigments and natural light reflective ingredients act as optical smoothers for fine lines creating a youthful glow. Vitamins A and E nourish, with anti-oxidants create a thin veil of protection for a silky finish. Soothin licorice, a European beauty secret, boosts microcirulation, brightens skin tone and lightens the appearance of unwanted skin imperfections.

This primer has an incredible texture; feels silky smooth and velvety. Love the way it goes on and the way my skin feels after using it. This is one of my favorite textures for face primers, as I find these are the type of primers that make your foundation look the best. It also helped my makeup look fresh for hours.

For sure a makeup primer I'd recommend!
