Tona Michelle Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadow in Air, Girly - swatches, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Here's another product from the Tona Michelle Cosmetics line. This is her Mineral Eyeshadow, which she gave me in shades Air and Girly. They are really nicely pigmented, have a nice texture, and wear beautifully. More shades are available.

Tona Michelle Cosmetics Mineral Eyeshadow Review:
I really liked the formula of these mineral shadows; they are nicely pigmented, go on smooth, and have a great texture.

The shade Air, which is a baby blue, goes on softly on its own but when applied wet takes on a metallic-like vibrant baby blue shade. Really pretty but not a shade I normally wear on its own. It will be a good layering shade for me.

The shade Girlie, is a sweet mid-tone hot pink. I really like the color - it's more pigmented than the Air shade, as you can tell that the shade Girlie doesn't have much difference when applied wet compared to when applied dry.

The only reason I rated these 3.5 out of 5 Kisses, instead of 4 out of 5 Kisses, is because the price is a bit expensive for the amount of product you receive. To be fair, her packaging is different than most; you get a built-in brush applicator instead of just a regular jar with sifter. But I'm also not a huge fan of the packaging. It looks great, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't use that brush applicator and then it makes it more messy for me to apply. I would rather get the color in a regular rounded jar with or without a sifter (I prefer without a sifter), so it's easier and less messy to use. Or even have the option of ordering it in a jar verses the packaging she has now, so those that do want the brush can get it and those that don't want the brush can get it too. She has a great formula on these shadows, I would just love to see a packaging change and then the price lowered a bit.

Overall, I think these are a fantastic shadow formula, and if you like the packaging then you should try them out!

Now let me know what you think...
