Mally Shimmer, Shape, & Glow Face Defining System in Life is Lighter - swatches, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Do you like to contour and highlight your face? I do, and it can make all the difference. Mally has a palette called her Shimmer, Shape, & Glow Face Defining System that easily puts together a contour, highlight and blush shade. I have the combo called Lift is Lighter, which is best for those with fair to light skintones. The contour shade is a bit light for me, but since the color pans are replaceable I can easily swap it out for a deeper shade (more info on how much that is in my review at the end of the post).

Mally Shimmer, Shape, & Glow Face Defining System Review:
This is another great product from Mally. She makes it easy to add contour, highlight and blush. They go on very sheer/light and are easily buildable to the desired effect you want.

The shade combo I have, Life is Lighter, is great for those with fair to light skintones. The contour shade is a little too light for me,  but the highlighter and blush I can wear anytime. The blush is a pretty peachy tone.

Because the palette has removable/replaceable color pans, I can easily take colors out and switch them up as the seasons change. Replacement pans are just $15 each on the Mally Beauty website, and are available in 10 shade options. I plan to buy a darker contour shade to use when summer comes around.

It comes with two brushes; one is a great brush for applying the blush (or any of the powders really), and the other is a dual-ended applicator - use the white end for contour and the black end for highlighter (just so you can see the product better on the bristles). Comes in a pink fabric pouch that keeps the compact and brushes all neat and tidy, ready for your purse or travel.

Overall, another great product from Mally that I can't complain about, so yes, I'd recommend it!

  2. This was the first Mally product I ever tried/bought, maybe five or six years ago when I saw her on QVC for the first time. The packaging and brushes are much nicer since then. I only got the smaller two sided brush with mine and the makeup was just in a pretty pink glossy cardboard. It was part of a kit with a lip gloss and bronze shadow.
