Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm Black Tea & Blackberry - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I have another men's product to share with you today, but one that women should have in their purse too! The Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm is one really amazing lip balm. I know the brand is a men's brand, but I find myself stealing this from my husband all the time. It conditions my lips instantly and perfectly. I like to put this on before I go to bed, or anytime my lips need extra help. It's a great way to give the guy in your life soft, kissable lips.... and your lips too!

Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm Review:
Even though I originally got this lip balm for my husband, I've been the main user. I keep this in my nightstand drawer and apply each night before I go to sleep. I'll also take it with me on days I'm out running errands, or I'll send it to school with my son when his lips are really chapped.

I have to admit, I think they are pricing this lip balm way too low. Now don't get me wrong, I'm happy it's only $7.50 a tube, but I'm really impressed with the formula and would just assume it would cost more. Because it's so affordable I recommend picking up a tube to keep at your home and one to take with you. You'll fall in love with this and will steal it from your guy, so buy one for him too.

My son doesn't really like this particular scent/flavor (but he's only 6 years old), but I do have the Mint one as well and he likes that one a lot better. I like this scent/flavor - not over powering and almost unnoticeable.

Overall, I'm very impressed with this lip balm and even though it's marketed towards men, I say this is a product everyone should own!

Now let me know what you think...

  1. I have to agree with you! I bought a tube about a month back, and I really loved it! So smooth and moisturizing without feeling sticky. <3 Gave it to my brother when he went for a holiday, and he told me it was 'gone' when he came back. :( Definitely have to re-purchase another tube or two, haha!

  2. @ LauraLeia: Yes! Definitely have to re-purchase! I am so surprised I liked a "mens" lip balm so much! I find myself reaching for it more than my "womens" lip balms!

  3. I hear nothing but good things about this lip balm. I think it's about time I bought it because my lips get chapped easily and they're always so dry no matter what lip balm or chapstick I use. However, I really wish that Jack Black revamps their packaging and makes a more feminine version because the current tube is definitely marketed for men.

  5. @ Joyce: Yes! Give it a try, especially if your lips get chapped easily because mine do as well and this is an instant lip helper. I use this a lot when I'm swatching lip products too because it can be really drying on my lips putting glosses/lipsticks/lip stains on and then wiping them off, and re-applying more shades. I put this on in between, even a little, and it can be incredibly helpful!

  6. I love this balm, truly my favorite! I have the mint, but this flavor sounds interesting too. I'm surprised at the price too, the quality is amazing.
