June Jacobs Papaya Purifying Enzyme Masque - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Back in August I received a sample of the June Jacobs Papaya Purifying Enzyme Masque in my Birchbox. I fell in love with the smell, but also loved how soft it made my skin. I'm so happy to have the full sized version now, which is what I'll share with you in this post.

June Jacobs Papaya Purifying Enzyme Masque Review:
When I received a sample of the June Jacobs Papaya Purifying Enzyme Masque in my August 2011 Birchbox, I instantly fell in love with the scent! It was a smooth fragrant mix of tropical fruits that smelled almost good enough to eat!

This masque starts off white but turns clear by the time it's ready to be washed off. It applies nicely; very creamy and you don't need to coat it on thick. The amount I showed in a photo above is all I usually use to get the job done. I leave it on for up to 10 minutes, but it says 3 to 10 minutes depending on skin sensitivity.

After washing this off my face, my skin felt super smooth and soft. This is one of those masks that you use and you don't think it's working, but after you wash it off you realize it did a job well done.

Use this masque 1 to 2 times a week for soft, smooth, supple skin.

Overall, yes, I would absolutely recommend this masque!

Now let me know what you think...

  1. I also got this in my Birchbox and it makes my skin feel so soft too. I have sensitive skin so I only leave it on for about 5 minutes. I'm still working on my sample but am seriously considering splurging to get the full size. I agree, it smells so delicious!

  2. @ Anonymous: It's worth the splurge, especially if you use some of your Birchbox points to get it!
