Anthony Logistics Sea Salt Body Scrub -- swatches, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

In this post I'm going to share with a men's skincare product, but women can use this too; it's a great body scrub! My husband tested this out first, and after feeling how soft his skin was (and because I just love body scrubs), I tested it too. We both liked it!

In the pics below the product size is a deluxe sample size, not the full sized. The full sized version looks similar, just larger in size (12 ounce instead of 2 ounce).

Check out my pics, swatches, stats, and review...

Anthony Logistics Sea Salt Body Scrub PRO's & CON's:
PRO's: gentle yet effective, affordable for the amount you get
CON's: the smell isn't for everyone (it just smells really salty)

Basic Stats for Anthony Logistics Sea Salt Body Scrub:
Formula: sea salt body scrub
Cost/Availability: $26.00 (12 oz full size). Available on the Anthony Logistics website, Sephora's website, and everywhere else Anthony Logistics products are sold.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Formula:
This scrub is for the body, made with sea salt to exfoliate rough skin, while aloe vera and sea kelp sooth and nourish skin. There is also nutmeg extract, which tones the skin, and vitamin C to brighten and protect against free radical damage. This is fragrance free, but that doesn't mean it's smell-free; there is a salty smell.

Anthony Logistics Sea Salt Body Scrub Review:
This bright blue scrub is great for men, but women can benefit from it too. Great for getting your body super smooth, even the roughest spots, while being gentle. My husband tested this out first, and he liked the way it felt and the way his skin felt afterwards. However, he didn't like the smell; said it was "too stinky" for his liking. That kind of surprised me because I thought it was a good "manly" smell, and by manly smell I just mean something that a guy wouldn't mind using because it didn't smell like a woman. He normally loves all Anthony Logistic products, so the fact he didn't like the smell really caught me off guard. Even though he's not a fan of the smell, he said he would still use it because it felt good and the smell didn't linger.

I, on the other hand, don't mind the smell. It is very salty smelling, but it's a salt scrub so I expect that. I liked the way it felt on my skin and how smooth my skin was afterwards. I also liked the fact that it rinsed off nicely. Some scrubs I use can be a bit oily, but not this one.

If you self tan, this is a great scrub to use before hand to get your body ready. It's great to use before shaving too. I'm not sure I'd use this all the time, I have other scrubs I like better, but this is a good one. I also really love the color of this scrub. I know that's a non-relevant point to mention, but the color makes me happy.

Overall, this is a great scrub to buy for the guy in your life or for yourself!

Now let me know what you think...

  2. Da la sensación de dar mucho frescor. Y el olor a sal para mí va bien, me recuerda al Mar.

  3. I've been thinking of getting some AL products for BF after getting him their lip balm and he loves it. But, idk, if your hubby thinks this stinks, I don't think my BF will like the scent either - he's big on scents and being picky

  4. @ Krystal Caracol: If you can, get a sample in person to bring back to him to smell. I was reading reviews on Sephora and most people don't mind the smell. It's just very salty smelling... could even say it smells like salt water from the ocean? I don't know, I'm not good at explaining scents, lol.
