Fusion Beauty Lip Fusion Balm Lip Conditioning Stick SPF 15 in Bitten: swatches, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I recently picked up the Fusion Beauty Lip Fusion Balm Lip Conditioning Stick SPF 15 in the shade Bitten during the Friends & Family sale at Sephora. It was already super cheap, so I got a great deal!

Check out my pics, swatches, stats and review...

Fusion Beauty Lip Fusion Balm
Lip Conditioning Stick SPF 15
Shade: Bitten
Shade Description: A sheer strawberry red; no shimmer.

Basic stats for Fusion Beauty Lip Fusion Balm Lip Conditioning Stick SPF 15:
Formula: stick balm
Coverage: sheer
Wear: average
Shade Info: The shade Bitten is a sheer strawberry.
Cost/Availability: $22 each (original price; I paid $5.50). I'm not sure where to tell you to go buy this product because Sephora no longer has this in stock and Fusion Beauty's website is not currently active.
Packaging: cylinder tube, retractable, twist to lock close (similar to Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment container).
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Formula:
A moisturizing lip balm that plump & hydrates while giving your lips a kiss of color. Made with nourishing oils and creamy butters that provide the perfect level of comforting hydration, along with SPF 15. Works to soothe cracked or chapped lips without being sticky or tacky. Contains doses of AmpliFat and marine collagen filling spheres which help to increase lip fullness, immediately and over time. Proven to increase water content of the skin by 6000% in four weeks.

Coverage:
A sheer wash of color.

Wear:
Average wear; apply as necessary/wanted.

Shade Info:
I selected the shade Bitten, which is described online as a sheer strawberry. There were three other shades on the website, but not all were in stock. Now none of them are in stock.

Cost/Availability:
$22 was the original price, but I paid $5.50 on sale, plus another 20% off of that! Because they are no longer carried on Sephora's website and Fusion Beauty is doing a makeover to their website, I can't suggest any places to buy this product from.

Packaging:
This balm comes in a cylinder tube. Retractable balm. Twist to lock close (similar to Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment container).

Fusion Beauty Lip Fusion Balm Lip Conditioning Stick SPF 15 Review:
For the price I paid ($4.40 after sale & discount), there really isn't anything I can complain about. But even if I paid full price there still wouldn't be anything to complain about. I fell in love with Lip Fusion products several years back with their clear lip plumper. It was the first lip plumper that I tried which did not sting my lips or leave any redness around them. I was a hard-core addict to that lip plumper! I still am to this day, but I probably don't reach for it as often as I used to.

Seeing as how I've been addicted to tinted lip balms lately (like Fresh Sugar Rose Tinted Lip Treatment or Maybelline Baby Lips), I knew I'd want to try this one out. I like it; I don't love it, but I like it. I haven't used it all that often just yet, but I still enjoy using it when I do.

It does plump my lips, but only a little; their original lip plumper does a lot more for my lips, but again, I still like this balm. It's moisturizing, non-sticky, and feels good on my lips. I've kept it next to my sink and apply it before bed after I brush my teeth. It makes my lips feel good all night and I wake up to smooth lips.

I would recommend this balm if you can find it!

  1. I think that Sephora here carries this brand, but I have to check! I'm really interested on lip plumpers
