Essence Single Eyeshadows - 8 shades - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I recently got three new Essence eyeshadows in shades Black Goddess, Yes Eye Can!, and Strawberry Ice Cream. I decided to blog about the three new shades but then thought I'd show swatches of all the Essence single eyeshadows I own, which happens to be eight shades. I like these shadows a lot; they're affordable and available in a range of nice colors. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!

Essence - Single Eyeshadows

Essence - Single Eyeshadow Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $2.49 (0.08 oz full size). Available at Ulta.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

Single eyeshadows with a high pigmentation guarantee a colorful start to the season. Whether shimmering, matte, metallic, or even holographic, the Essence shades create unique effects on your eyes and give your fingal look an extra special touch.

These drugstore eyeshadows have really nice pigmentation, especially over an eyeshadow primer. I have eight shades in my makeup collection of the single Essence eyeshadow. I think I use the shade Party All Night the most, but I really love one of my newest shades, Black Goddess.

Below are the shades I have and it lists if they are a shimmering, sparkling, or metallic finish.

  • 35 Party All Night - metallic
  • 06 Metropolitan - sparkling
  • 09 Get Ready - shimmer
  • 04 Black Goddess - sparkling
  • 58 Cappuccino, Please! - shimmer
  • 11 Wild At Heart - metallic
  • 54 Yes Eye Can! - shimmer
  • 68 Strawberry Ice Cream - shimmer

I really like these shadows; they are really affordable at $2.49 each regular price at Ulta and you can sometimes catch them on sale -- such as Buy 1, Get 1 At 50% off.

The shade 04 Black Goddess is a must-have shade; very pigmented and gorgeous to use as a smoldering liner shade. But really, you can't go wrong with any of these shades.

Would recommend Essence single eyeshadows!

  1. I own about 25 of them. I find that they are a hit or miss, but I really like them. My favourites are Party All Night and Cappuchino Please,I have yet to write a post about those. A good amount of the shades you swatched have been discontinued in Europe for a while now.
