Benefit Posie Tint: swatches, pics, info, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I had to admit I'm not into liquid and cream blushes/tints, only because they disturb my foundation and they don't last long on me (especially creams). However, if I do reach for one I almost always reach for Posie Tint because of how natural looking it is, and the fact that it does stay put pretty well.

Check out my swatches, pics, stats, and review...

Benefit Posie Tint
Shade Description: A brightening posie pink natural looking tint.

Basic stats for Benefit Posie Tint:
Formula: liquid-gel
Coverage: sheer; buildable
Wear: lasts pretty long
Shade Info: Posie Tint is only available in this shade, however, Benefit has a few other tints (like Benetint and Cha Cha Tint).
Packaging: round bottle, brush in cap - similar to a nail polish bottle
Cost/Availability: $29 for the full size version (0.42 oz); I only have a mini (shown above in the photos). You can purchase this product on Benefit's website, on Sephora's website and everywhere else Benefit is sold.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Formula:
This is a liquid-gel formula for both cheeks and your lips.

Coverage:
This is sheer, but it can go on heavy -- if that makes any sense. Use only one drop at a time until you have the color amount you desire.

Wear:
This isn't a super long-wearing product, but it does last pretty long - and that's saying a lot for me because liquid and cream blushes tend to disappear, fade, or slide around my face. This doesn't.

Shade Info:
Posie Tint doesn't come in any other shades, but Benefit does make other tints. They just have a specific name for each one - like Benetint and Cha Cha Tint.

Packaging:
Comes in a rounded-tube bottle. The cap twists off and has a built-in brush. The cap and brush reminds me of a nail polish bottle, and the full sized really reminds me of a nail polish bottle but I like it.

Cost/Availability:
You can purchase Posie Tint for $29 on Benefit's website, on Sephora's website and everywhere else Benefit is sold (like Macy's and Ulta). You can also pick up a mini version (the size I have), along with a mini Benetint and mini High Beam for only $15 on Sephora's website.

Benefit Posie Tint Review:
As I mentioned at the start of this post, I'm just not a liquid or cream cheek color type of gal. However, I really like Benefit's Posie Tint! The color is so natural look, yet brightening and youthful looking. It works well on almost everyone - from fair to light to medium to deep skin tones. This is one shade that has the potential to work with every skin tone and skin type.

I don't use it on my lips because I find it a bit drying for them, but when combined with a lip balm it works well to create a pretty tint. You could even use it on your eye lids - but I think this shade would look a little weird on my lids.

I only have a small bottle of this tint, but it will probably last me for many years because you only need a drop or two per cheek. The full sized version would last forever.

If you're looking for a natural way to add some healthy looking color to your cheeks then I suggest checking out Benefit's Posie Tint!

Now let me know what you think...
Do you already own this tint? If not, do you want to try this out? Are you even a tint girl? Discuss in the comments.

  1. I have several of the Benefit tints. I use the "Jelly donut" method. One dab of the tint, surrounded by a ring of "high beam" so it looks like a jelly donut. Then blend-->tint with shimmer. :)
