Tonight is the Jason Mraz concert down in Richmond, VA. I'm going alone, because the ticket was expensive, but I am really, really, REALLY looking forward to it. I have a front row ticket, plus a meet & greet afterwards! Yay!!! I am geeking out over here!
I, of course, had to create Jason Mraz nail art for this concert. I didn't write down any colors I used, but if you do have any questions just ask and I'll try to remember what polish was used for what, or what stamping plate was used. I also want to mention that I used the Knockout Nails System before polishing (it's freakin amazing) and as a final step with their top coat. I'll share with you pics and review of the Knockout Nails System soon. For now though, check out my Jason Mraz inspired NOTD. Each nail represents something different, which I'll explain below the pics. If you're a Jason Mraz fan you may not even need to read the explanations.
TOP ROW (1 through 5 going left to right)
- Mraz signature
- Geek in the Pink (song)
- Jason Mraz (artwork from one of his albums... just done in color)
- Mraz Hat
BOTTOM ROW (1 through 5 going left to right)
- Zipper (from the lyrics "I can't find a zipper anywhere on your back, perhaps its attached to the..." and I won't continue the lyrics from there, lol)
- It's A Beautiful Mess (song... splatter type design inspired by it and colors from the album)
- Rainbow with Music Notes (Jason does a lot for gay rights)
- Hearts (I really don't like this one because it's too simple, but it represents love)
I'll post pics from the concert within a couple of days, including a pic of me and Jason Mraz (I can get it online after a day or two of the concert; at least that was what I received in my instructions). I really hope my makeup lasts through the concert so I don't look crazy in my pic with him. I'm sure this will be the only time I get a pic with him so I want to make it a good one! I should get great pics of the concert considering I'm front row. I still don't know what I'm going to wear; I had an outfit planned but then my boob ruptured and I have to completely change plans (since the top was rather boobi-licious and I'm afraid it won't look right). I'm going to shop before the concert somewhere and hope to pull together a great outfit!
Now I'm off to have an amazing, memorable night! I hope you all have a great Monday!
