This is their 2013 Halloween Collection: Hocus Pocus Collection!
Hocus Pocus is a collection of eye colors, 2 cheek colors and even some lip colors that were created for the season! They are a mixture of satin, shimmer and sparkly and are fun to wear while being long lasting.
I have sample baggies of the 16 shadow shades and 2 cheek colors, which is what I swatched in the photos. I'm not particularly a huge fan of the cheek colors, as they are a bit too shimmer and not the shades I reach for (plus, I'm not a big blush wearer) - BUT - the eye colors.... girl, you want to talk about pretty.... they're gorgeous!!!
The shadows have nice pigmentation on their own, but of course really pop when applied over shadow primer (or when applied wet).
I have a few favorite shades from the collection: Black Flamed Candle, Angry Zombie, Bloody Witch, Cursed Boy, Young Virgin, Hocus Pocus, Hallowed Ground, and Underground Crypt.
I'll list the shades below and my description (as best I could describe them from swatches in person - not necessarily how they read on camera). Dreamworld Minerals has descriptions on their website as well which are much more in depth!
Black Flamed Candle - bronze brown
Angry Zombie - penny copper brown
Little Witch - a warm gold with orange undertone
All Hallow's Eve - a rose gold copper/light copper
Bloody Witch - chocolate bronze
Cursed Boy - a black/brown with red bronze shimmer
1693 - a rosy bronze copper
Young Virgin - a gorgeous gray/blue black with turquoise shimmer (my favorite of all the shades)
Spellbook - a deeper copper with shimmer
Hocus Pocus - a gray black with shimmer
Ice - a silver shimmer
Siren Witch - a pink based purple berry
Hallowed Ground - a mint green with golden undertones (prettier in person - photos don't do this shade justice)
Underground Crypt - a green with golden undertones
Evil Witch - a wearable lime green with golden undertones
Girl With The Yabbos - an olive/army green with golden undertones
I guess if you do miss this collection they *might* bring them back next Halloween, but that's a long time to wait for these stunning shades. If you like any of these go ahead and pick up a few -- even just the mini jars, because with loose mineral shadows, a little goes a long way!
Love these and would recommend!
