Emjoi Micro-Pedi - plus two attachment sets - before & after, pics, reviews

Hello, Beautiful!

With sandal season in full effect here, having pretty feet is a must and one product that I've been absolutely loving is the Emjoi Micro-Pedi! This pedicure must-have has been upgraded with additional attachment sets - two of which I'll show you in this post. One is the Precision Tip set, great for getting in between toes and such. The other makes this pedicure tool into a manicure tool with the Manicure Set! A full review on all the info after the pics - including my before & after pics of my feet, yuck, lol!

Emjo Micro-Pedi Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $39.95. Available on the Emjoi website, on the QVC website - which is just $27.28, at Ulta, at Sally Beauty, and coming soon to Bed, Bath & Beyond.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

This ingenious and innovative little device removes dry, rough, hardened callused skin from the soles of feet in no more than a few seconds - leaving them soft, supple and beautiful for summer and year-round comfort. It does all this without pain, without the risk of nicks and cuts from metal scraper blades, without any of the hygiene concerns of having a pedicure at a spa, and, unlike a manually wielded pumice, loofah or non-automatic product, the Emjo Micro-Pedi practically does the job on its own with little effort from you.

The functional end of the Micro-Pedi consists of a unique Micro Mineral Roller (two comes with the unit) - that spins at an amazing 30 times a second. This comes encased in a body that features a comfortable ergonomic handle for effortless use. In February 2012 Micro-Pedi was awarded The Amercian Podiatric Seal of Acceptance. Now with the new attachments that offer enhanced funtionality, the Micro-Pedi is becoming a must-have home spa system for year-round manicures and pedicures - for both women and men.

Operates on two AA batteries (which are not included). I have read some reviews saying the batteries die quickly, but that has more to do with the batteries themselves and not the machine. I haven't had issues with it like some say, so just buy some good batteries (I use Duracell in mine). This is also easy to clean.

I absolutely fell in LOVE with this product! It is so simple to use and so very effective. It's fun to use too! I can see why on QVC there are over 3,600 Five-Star reviews! I love to use this -- it's quick and easy and even relaxing.

Even though I get disgusted by before & afters for this type of thing (I could never watch that Ped-Egg commercial, lol), I still took before & after pics because I wanted to show you all how effective this product is. It truly works, and your feet will feel so soft and smooth! I use this on my best friend (a guy) and his feet are busted before using this, and after he actually says his feet are too smooth and should be rougher because he's a man, lol.

I've mentioned this product to some people who also happened to own this and they also couldn't say enough positive things about this. I honestly wanted to try this for awhile, especially because I have broken so many of those hand-held foot buffers; they just snap. And the metal ped-egg things scare me because they remind me of a cheese grater (no thank-you; I'll try something else). The Emjoi Micro-Pedi doesn't hurt -- if anything, it tickled in some spots!

The rollers - you get two with the unit - do need to be replaced from time to time. How often you need to replace it will depend on how often you use it, and how bad your feet are - meaning how tough the callouses are you are trying to remove. Just continue using them until the rollers are smooth and/or no longer remove skin from your feet. Replacement rollers are $19.95 on the Emjoi website or $14.90 on the QVC website.

I super love this product -- a summer must-have and beauty tool I'd recommend to everyone!

Now I also mentioned they added some attachment sets: The Micro-Pedi Precision Kit and the Micro-Pedi Manicure Kit. These attachment sets are sold for $19.95 each at retail price ($19.50 at QVC).

The Micro-Pedi Precision Kit includes 3 cone shaped micro mineral rollers and a silver roller holder. The precision rollers are specially designed for hard to reach callouses in between and under the toes. The silver roller holder - which goes in place of the regular roller on your Micro-Pedi, with the cone rollers sticking out from the side of silver roller - spins 360 degrees and at 30 times per second, to quickly remove dry, rough and calloused skin in seconds. Works with all Emjoi Micro-Pedi units.

The Micro-Pedi Manicure Kit makes your pedicure tool into a manicure tool in seconds. This kit allows you to smooth and buff nails with salon quality precision in the comfort of your home. Includes 5 attachements and a silver roller holder. The attachments includes a Buffing Tool, Shaping Tool, Emery Tool, Fine Shaping Tool, and Cuticle Pusher. The silver roller holder - which goes in place of the regular roller on your Micro-Pedi, with the cone rollers sticking out from the side of silver roller - spins 360 degrees and at 30 times per second. Comes with a convenient travel case to keep your manicure attachment tools stored away neatly. Works with all Emjoi Micro-Pedi units.

I love the idea of the manicure kit - which makes one beauty tool into two. I like to use those kind of tips on my nails from time to time; I have something similar from years and years ago so it's nice to have a new set and get double-duty use from my Emjoi Micro-Pedi! The Precision Kit is something you at first don't really think you need, but once you have it you realize how you can take your feet even further when it comes to looking and feeling their best. I didn't use the precision tool for the before and after pics, but I can assure you it's a really nice set to own to get the maximum benefits of super soft, pretty feet!

Overall, this is a great product. For a beauty tool it's not a super large investment, and knowing you can add attachments to further how you can use this is amazing. Without any hesitation, I recommend this to everyone!

  2. I own the micropedi as well, and love it. Ped egg has been tossed out. I use Duracell batteries also, and have not replaced them yet in the 4 months I've own this file. I use it 2 times a week and my feet look and feel great. I got mine at Sally's it was on the clearance rack total score. I may just invest in the manicure kit as well.

  3. @ Beata B: Wow, you got it on clearance at Sally's? That's awesome! And yes, it makes such a huge difference in the way my feet look and feel; I honestly am mad this hasn't been in my life sooner lol.

  4. As a woman who lives as much of her life as possible barefoot, I wage a constant battle with rough, dry skin. As for calluses- I am an over-achiever. I have often joked with my daughter that I need to use a belt sander on them. Not anymore. The Micro-Pedi sends all other tools (pumice, ped eggs etc, and yes, belt sanders) into the trash.
