Pur Minerals Beautiful Creatures Collection - shadow palette, lip gloss, eyeliner - swatches, pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

In this post I'm going to show you a really pretty eyeshadow palette from Pur Minerals - in fact, they sell it as a collection, which includes a lip gloss and eyeliner. They call it their Beautiful Creatures Collection - inspired by the movie, Beautiful Creatures. At $29, you get 8 shadows, a lip gloss and an eyeliner. And the shadow palette has such pretty colors in it; definitely one to check out! See my full review and all the info about this collection after the pictures!

Pur Minerals Beautiful Creatures Collection Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $29.00 (for the collection). Available on the Pur Minerals website. You can also purchase this at Ulta - but their website sells it for $39.00 (not sure of price in store or why it's $10 more than the Pur Minerals website).
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

Inspired by the film Beautiful Creatures, Pur Minerals newest makeup palette is equal parts charming and dangerous. Embrace the light and dark beauty within with eight otherworldly shadows, one sultry eyeliner and one luscious lip gloss. Whatever your  mood, whim or occasion, claim your look with this supernatural collection. And as always, Pur Minerals does NOT test on animals; yay!

This collection includes a gorgeous eyeshadow palette that contains eight shadows - in nude and purple/pink tones. Such a pretty palette with many looks for day or night. There is a mini brush that is included, but I honestly never use those.

The shades in the palette are:
- Supernatural
- Siren
- Spellbound
- Fate
- Fantasy
- Secret
- Forbidden
- Cursed

The shadows themselves are nicely pigmented on their own, and of course even better over a primer. The shade Siren (the moss green shade) probably lacked pigmentation the most, but it still is pretty nice. The texture of the shadows is nice and soft and they blend well.

The lip gloss included is in a shade called Lust - which looks like a pretty everyday pink. The gloss itself feels nice on the lips and gives pretty shine. The color is pretty, but sheer -- you won't get much color pay off from it, but that can be a good thing. Definitely loved the shine from the gloss!

The eyeliner is in the shade Black Magic, which is described on their website as a charcoal and I find that to be pretty accurate. It's not a deep black, but it's not gray either. It's perfect for creating a sultry effect without looking harsh. Glides on okay - not the creamiest, but still workable for sure.

Overall, the price of the collection is worth it just for the palette -- such pretty wearable, everyday colors! I have been loving the shades Supernatural, Fate, Spellbound and Cursed -- they are just so pretty! Honestly I love all the colors except Siren, and that's just a personal preference because I'm not a green eyeshadow type of gal. This is a palette I've been reaching for a lot lately because the colors are so wearable and you can combine them and layer them to create a lot of looks.

I would definitely recommend this collection; it would make a great gift for yourself or someone special.
