100% Pure Fruit Pigmented Satin Eye Shadow Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $15.00 (0.12 oz full size). Available on the 100% Pure website.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Island inspired creamy eye shadows. Smooth and velvety texture that leave your eyelids soft, moisturized and nourished with vitamins, antioxidants and other nutrients that are good for your skin. 100% natural formula is free of chemical preservatives, artificial fragrances, synthetic chemicals, and are colored with the pigments from antioxidant rich fruits and vegetables.

These cream shadows are very creamy, soft and smooth in texture. They glide on easily and have decent pigmentation. You can build the color intensity by applying one layer and waiting about 30 to 60 seconds, then applying another layer.

Out of the three shades I have, Tahiti is my favorite but I like them all. Great neutrals to own! I do wish there were more shades available - like a gray - but I'm sure that will come in time.

Overall, I really liked these cream shadows and would recommend them!

Now let me know what you think...

  1. I like the Barbados a lot - have not used this brand is some time. I bought a few items from it when it was sold in part on QVC but now no where to buy it. It did not have good stay power in the products I tried but I like the looks and the formulations were really nice being all from natural pigments.

  2. They look gorgeous, but how was the staying power? I have greasy lids and creams rarely work.

  3. @ Freshie: I use these over primer so I don't have any problems with staying power. Not sure how they are on their own; they're not super stay-put or anything like a MUFE Aqua Cream, but they work great over primer.

  4. They are on my wish list. I absolutely love 100% Pure products. Most eyeshadows irritate my eye and I can't imagine these would. I also have fair skin and large blue eyes, so I tend to go for light neutral shadows. I think Tahiti would look best on me, since Belize looks almost like my own skin color and might drown me out. I would probably put a sparkly shade under the brow to make it pop more.

  7. Which would you suggest for brown eyes?

  8. @ Jeff and Diane: Tahiti would really look great; I have brown eyes (although I have prescription contacts that are colored that I wear from time to time). Out of the three shades above, Tahiti looks great on brow eyes; really makes them pop.
