Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Revival Mud - pics, swatches, review!

Hello, Beautiful!

While everyone is going crazy over GlamGlow - which is $69 for 1.2 to 1.7 oz of product, and honestly, I didn't see any results - I'm going crazy for the Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Revival Mud Skin Restoring Treatment Mask - which is just $38 for 3.88 oz of product - and I saw results! I'll do a full review on this mask, along with a comparison to GlamGlow, all below after the pics!

Product Info...

Miracle Revival Mud is a mineral-enriched mud mask sourced from spring-fed lakes in Eastern Europe. Formulated with unique silts loaded with skin enhancing ingredients, a revolutionary ingredient known for its organic healing powers and providing nourishment and treatment to the skin.

This naturally occurring bioactive silt conditions the skin instantly. These bioactive silts are known to be superior in treatments to Dead Sea Mud, Fango Mud and Moor Mud, and promotes cellular turnover by 92%. It targets age spots and helps reduce the appearance of fine lines by stimulating the skin's natural collagen.

The result? Improved hydration, firmness and skin clarity, a more even skin tone and reduced surface shine. Special absorbing action unclogs pores, delivers natural nourishment, eliminates dead skin cells and detoxifies impurities. Skin feels comfortably refreshed, invigorated and youthful.

Enriched with the M3 Complex that delivers a combination of anti-oxidants and vitamins including Green Tea and Mushroom extracts. Skin smoothing beta glucans and extracts of the Resurrection Plant reduce surface redness and promote radiance. This mask gently exfoliates skin and helps even out the appearance of skin tone. Helps protect against free radiance damage.

Free of synthetic fragrances, dyes, wax, mineral oils and talc. Developed with selected natural ingredients. Dermatologist tested.

Directions for application: This thick mud mask should be generously applied to clean dry skin, avoiding the eye area. After 15 minutes, rinse off with water in a circular motion to exfoliation. Use maximum twice a week.

My Review...

I like this mask a lot. When you put it on it feels very cooling on the skin, and stays that way throughout. This may sound weird, but at certain points during the mask - if you really pay attention - you can feel these little invigorating bubbles. Maybe it's a tingle happening - not sure - as most masks that say they tingle I don't usually feel. But what I do know is that this mask feels very nice on the skin. Because of how nice and cooling it is, I'd assume this is great for puffiness on the face.

This has a thick, mud mask type texture that smooths onto skin easily. I like that it doesn't really have a scent to it. If anything, it has a very light scent of mud and even a hint of Play-Doh. I like that it doesn't smell bad and actually has a pleasant smell.

When you rinse it off you'll want to make sure you rub off in circular motions with a washcloth or paper towel, which will add that extra exfoliation and help it come off easier too.

This has an internal lid that you can throw out, but I'd recommend keeping it to help keep the mask from drying out over time.

Like I started this post out with, everyone is going crazy over GlamGlow - and I don't see why. I tried it and wasn't impressed. It's so much money for such little product for such little results. I also never felt "the tingle". I'm a huge mask/peel person, and I've tried so many, and GlamGlow just doesn't stand out enough to justify the price tag - at least for me. If you love it and it works, then great! Maybe the new hydrating GlamGlow will work, but I know I don't like the original.

With that being said, the Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Revival Mud is cheaper - especially when you're talking per ounce price! GlamGlow is $40.59 per ounce for the 1.7 oz size, and $57.50 per ounce for the 1.2 oz size (which is what the Clearing one is). Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Revival Mud is just $9.79 per ounce. Yeah... huge difference! Not to mention that I saw more results from the Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Revival Mud than the GlamGlow.

Now I don't want you to think I'm bashing GlamGlow - because I'm certainly not - but I know I've been asked by many people for a cheaper alternative. I'm not saying this is a dupe for GlamGlow either. I just want to point out that if you're looking for a mask to do basically what the original, hydrating and clearing ones do from GlamGlow, but all in one, then the Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Revival Mud may be the way to go. It's not aimed at being an acne-fighting mask, but it will help to detoxify skin, which helps (and I personally find it helps with my acne).

Final Thoughts...

I was really pleased with this mask. It always leaves my skin feeling very clean, less congested, softer, smoother, brighter, firmer, and doesn't dry my skin out either! Just leaves it as perfect as it can be after a mask. Loved it and would recommend!
