Beauty For Real has come out with a new product, their Lip Creams! They currently only offer three shades, and I have the shade Always There. Just like their lip glosses, their Lip Creams have the built-in light in the cap and the mirror on the side of the tube. I really like this formula and the color is pretty too. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics!
Beauty For Real Lip Crem Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $22.00 (4.5 ml full size). Currently not available for sale online at the time I wrote this post. But it will be available on the Beauty For Real website, at Dermstore, and everywhere else Beauty For Real cosmetics are sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses
Beauty For Real is excited to announced the launch of innovative technology for the lips in three essential shades. The full colored Lip Cream, complete with an LED light and mirror on the bottle, will deliver hydrating lip care with Cupuaca Butter, an array of hydro-lipids and the nourishing effects of Neroli.
The Cupuaca Butter is cold-pressed, refined, and filtered from the seeds of the Cupuacu Tree in Brazil. This provides a creamy and emollient feel that promotes smoothness and softness. While the special blend of organic Neroli and mandarin oils offer a soothing, calming feel.
The Lip Cream is a unique formula that provides the ultimate care for the lips with high impact, saturated color and long lasting wear. The applicator is designed with an LED light and a mirror allowing a controlled application anytime, anywhere.
Available in three shades: Always There, Really Red and Barely There.
I have the shade Always There, which is the middle shade and a great pink shade. It's a medium berry pink shade that has more of a brighter berry undertone to it. Really pretty - great for fall especially because it's not totally dark but not summer bright either. It's very wearable and has no shimmer. I would say if you liked their gloss in the shade Kiss Me then you'll love the Lip Cream in Always There. I don't know what the other two shades look like, but Barely There looks like a baby pink and Really Red is a red shade.
The price point for the new Lip Creams is the same as their lip glosses. I'd love to see a trio of the Lip Creams, just like they have trios of their lip glosses. Although they are in the same size tube as the lip glosses but the lip glosses are 7.5 ml and these say they are 4.5 ml - not sure how they are less product when they are in the same packaging unless it has something to do with the formula and how it weighs out or something; not sure but thought I'd mention it anyway.
I loved the texture of this Lip Cream. It is like a liquid lipstick - where it's like a gloss and lipstick in one. But this leans more towards the lipstick side when it comes to the texture and finish, rather than a gloss. It's smooth and non-sticky and I find it goes on really nicely as far as being easy to apply with the applicator.
I really liked this particular shade and formula and would recommend it!

What do you think of this lip cream? What about this shade? Are these now on your beauty wish list? Discuss in the comments below.
that is a beautiful color and looks like it goes on very well. however, 22.00 is a bit much when you can get the same from many other places for far cheaper.
