Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Lip Gloss Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $14.00 (0.11 oz full size). Available on the Be A Bombshell Cosmetics website.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses
Be A Bombshell Cosmetics Lip Glosses offer a long-lasting color formula with high shine.
I find these lip glosses to be nice but I wasn't totally wowed by the formula. Yet, there wasn't anything about the formula that bothered me either. I did find them to be slightly tacky but that doesn't bother me much because that means they'll last longer - which is a good thing.
I guess the one thing that does bother me about these glosses it the lack of product that comes out on the applicator. They have a doe-foot applicator, which I love (it's my preferred gloss applicator) but not a lot of product comes out and I have to re-did again and again.
There are currently 14 shades available, and I have three of them - some of which I got in subscription boxes. I have Sangria, Taupeless and Hot Mess.
Sangria is a nice shade; it's described on their website as a sheer raspberry wine. I would agree with that, and would also add that there is shimmer to this shade. It's really pretty for the fall - one that I haven't been reaching too much during the summer but now that I'm gearing up for fall I think this shade is a great choice! It's my favorite of the three shades I own.
Taupeless is a nude shade; it's described on their website as an opaque nude. I find this to be a more orange-brown nude rather than a pink nude. I like it and think this is a nude that would look great on a lot of skintones. There is some shimmer in it; not as much as the shade Sangria but still enough there that it adds a nice sheen to the gloss.
Hot Mess is a red; it's described on their website as an opaque red. I agree and would add that there is no shimmer to this shade, but plenty of shine because it is a gloss. I'm not a red lip type of gal, but I do like this red because it's a pink-based red, which reads more pink on me than red-red and is more wearable for my preferences.
Out of the other lip gloss shades they offer, I think I'd like to try Last Call Girl, All Dolled Up, Summer Lovin, and Sugar Lips.
Overall, I do like these glosses and would say if you're placing an order from the Be A Bombshell Cosmetics website to go ahead and add one or two to your order, but I don't know if these are their star product to get you to go to their website and order in the first place. I really like their mascara and their blushes so far the most - so definitely check those out!
