Milani Supreme Kohl Kajal Eyeliner - swatches & review!

Hello, Beautiful!

I was really excited to try out the Milani Supreme Kohl Kajal Eyeliner because the product claims seemed perfect. This eyeliner says that it will deliver intense black color to lids and waterline, and it's waterproof. So does this hold up to the claims? Read my review below, along with all the product info, after the pics.

Milani Supreme Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Info & Review
Cost: $5.99 (0.012 oz full size)
Availability: Available on the Milani Cosmetics website, at CVS and other select retailers that carry Milani Cosmetics.
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Soft but serious. With this new eyeliner you get it all -- and then some. While kohl pencils are usually way too smudgy to neatly line the inner rim, this glide-on, precision number gets right in there. Tightlining, waterlining, adding definition to the upper lid - there's nothing this one-stroke wonder can't do.

Available in a single stellar shade - Blackest Black. This waterproof formula is laced with hydrating, nourishing ingredients. It's self-sharpening too!

This liner has some really great claims to it, especially when it comes at such an affordable price point ($5.99 retail). I had very high hopes for this liner, and I think it lived up to most of my hopes.

First, let me start by saying that very few products out there will stay on my waterline -- at least not for longer than maybe 2 or 3 hours before the outer corners of my waterline start to fade away and I need to touch up. I have yet to find a liner to last all day in my entire waterline without needing touch-ups. A gel or cream liner seem to have the best staying power for me over any pencil.

However, this liner did hold up pretty well. It lasted as long as my gel liners do - but I still had to touch up throughout the day. On the top lash line it really got in between the lashes and stayed put - but on the lid I found it to be a bit smudgy as the day went on.

I do find that it glides on nicely, but on my waterline I do have to go over the color - it's not one-stroke, intense black color for me; at least not on my waterline (but that's true for a lot of products).

Overall, my verdict is this pencil is a great buy and may be your new go-to drugstore waterline eyeliner!
