Milani has come out with another new liquid liner to their Eye Tech family; this one is the Milani Eye Tech Perfection Liquid Liner. What makes this liner different from the rest is the packaging. It's designed to be easier to hold and control, but I honestly don't like these type of liners because I find them more difficult to use (and I'll explain why in my review below), but I do know a lot of people love this style. I do love the formula - it's very black and goes on evenly, while lasting all day. Check out all the product info below, along with my full review, after the pics!

Perfecto! Easy to hold, easy to apply. Whether you are right or left handed, makeup pro or just beginning, the ergonomic handle and extreme felt-tip point allows you to line yours to perfection. Full color definition in one stroke application. Non-feathering formula, water-resistant. Paraben-free.
The extreme fine-tip point creates three line styles:

The extreme fine-tip point creates three line styles:
- THIN: use the very tip for a slender, extremely thin line.
- MEDIUM: hold pen at a slight angle to create a bolder, thicker line.
- HEAVY: hold the pen horizontally and color over the eyelid for an eyeshadow like coverage.
I'll be the first to say that I really like Milani's liquid liners; their Eye Tech Extreme is one of my favorites. I personally LOVE the formula of their new Eye Tech Perfection -- it's super black, very pigmented and goes on very evenly with full coverage in a single stroke.
However, what I don't like is the packaging. Now I know this style of liner is out there from a lot of brands - ranging from drugstore to high end - but I just personally don't like holding them. They're supposed to be easier to hold with their "ergonomic handle" but honestly, I find them harder to hold and use -- more bulky.
Maybe I'm just used to holding a pencil/pen style more, but this style isn't for me. However, if you do like this style of liner packaging - which I know a lot of people do - then you will be very impressed with the formula. In fact, had I loved the packaging, this liner would have gotten a 5 out of 5 Kisses rating from me. Since I'm just not a fan of the packaging, I only rated it a 4 out of 5 Kisses because the formula is great. Although I will say this isn't waterproof, but it does say it's water-resistant. For everyday use I don't have any issues with it wearing off or smudging, but you may want to pick a waterproof formula if you plan to be out on a hot summer day, at the beach, in the pool, or wherever water may come in contact with your face.
Now I can still work with it, and I have, because I do like the way this liner looks on my eyes. What I don't like is how bulky it is and my lashes actually get in the way of application - especially if I blink. Even if I stop lining my eyes to blink, my lashes will still somehow bump the liner and cause it to go somewhere else on my eye lid. I know it says this is great even if you're "just beginning in makeup to a pro" but I'm no where near a beginner, and I still can't use this thing easily.
As long as you're okay with the packaging style, then I would highly recommend this liner because the formula is great. But for me, I'll stick with their Eye Tech Extreme.
Now let me know what you think...
