Tat2U - 2 Cover U Extreme Cover Cream: before & after, pics, swatches, review!

Hello, Beautiful!

I have yet another great product from Tat2U to share with you today! In this post I'll talk about their 2 Cover U Extreme Cover Cream. I have three shades: Light Beige, Medium Beige and the Tat2U Blue Neutralizer. I use all three shades and I'll explain how I use them in my review below. These creamy concealers are great for hiding dark under eye circles, blemishes, hyper pigmentation, and even tattoos. Check out all the product info, along with my full review, after the pics!

Shades: Light Beige, Medium Beige, Tat2U Blue Neutralizer
Continue scrolling down to see more pics of each individual shade.

As you can sell below, this was my first attempt to cover a tattoo. I wasn't precise or careful, and I didn't allow layers to fully set/dry in between, so if I had taken my time and done this properly it would have covered it flawlessly. I also didn't even try to blend it out into the rest of my skin, but I still wanted to post this so you could see that it can cover a tattoo. More details about this in my review below.

My Review...

I'll be honest and say when I first opened these and looked at them, I didn't think they'd be very creamy. If you look at the pictures they kind of looked dried out, with slight cracks in product. But I was very pleasantly surprised when I rubbed my finger across them to find they were extremely creamy and not even close to being dried out!

I have three shades: Light Beige, Medium Beige and Tat2U Blue Neutralizer. I use all three shades for different reasons.

The Light Beige shade is actually my preferred shade for under my eyes to conceal and brighten. It's a little on the light side to conceal imperfections on my face, so that's where I use Medium Beige. I sometimes will even mix Light Beige and Medium Beige together.

The shade Tat2U Blue Neutralizer is a great first step to conceal those dark, purple/blue under eye circles! It makes an excellent neutralizer and then you can apply your regular concealer on top and you'll look flawless. For my before & after pic of my under eye, I didn't use the Tat2U Blue Neutralizer only because I wanted to show how well the Light Beige covered on its own. If you like the effect that Benefit's Erase Paste has to help conceal your dark circles, but hate the Erase Paste formula, then the Tat2U Blue Neutralizer is a great option to look into. I actually lost my Benefit Erase Paste (which was one of the only products to help neutralize my dark circles) so when I got the Tat2U Blue Neutralizer I was happy to find it works just as well, if not better (and the formulation is thinner and easier to blend compared to the Benefit Erase Paste).

I do find that the shade jump from Light Beige to Medium Beige is a big intense. There is no shade in between and I find that Medium Beige was too dark for me, but as I'm getting more of a tan it's working out well on its own. That's another reason I mixed Light Beige and Medium Beige; just so I could get a perfect match for my skin to cover blemishes and hyper pigmentation marks.

I have problems with cream products never setting up on my face, but what I really like about this product is how quickly it dries down. It dries down to an almost powder-like finish, not tacky or sticky. Of course I still set it under my eyes, but I wouldn't really need to with this one.

As for covering tattoos, you can see my semi-failed first attempt to cover one of my tattoos. I really wasn't trying to be careful or precise, and I didn't allow layers to fully dry/set, so I think that's why it didn't cover as well as I know it can. With correct application, this concealer cream can cover a tattoo. I'll have to post some photos in the future on my Instagram showing how well it can cover them.

For those wanting to know what I did for that tattoo cover up, I first used the Tat2U Blue Neutralizer, then set it with a power. I just used the Coty Airspun Loose Powder. Then I applied the Medium Beige shade, and set that with a powder. I did a second layer of Medium Beige and another layer of powder.

Final Thoughts...

This is a great concealer cream that will cover dark circles, blemishes, hyper pigmentation and other flaws you may have. It's also powerful enough to cover tattoos. If you're looking for that kind of coverage from a concealer, then I recommend checking out the Tat2U 2 Cover U Extreme Cover Cream.

Tat2U Tat2Lash Mascara: before & after, pics, review!

Hello, Beautiful!

I have an amazing mascara to share with you in this post, and it's from the brand Tat2U! It's their Tat2ULash Mascara and it has quickly become my everyday, go to mascara because of the dramatic length and volume it gives (more length for me than volume). I am in love with this mascara and think it's definitely worth checking out. Check out all the product info, along with my full review, after the pics!

Also, just want to point out that that Tat2U brand may not be as well known as other brands out there, but I've tried out several of their products - including their Lip Creme Extreme - and I am really impressed by the brand. More reviews coming soon of their Brow Pow and 2 Cover U Extreme Cover Cream, plus their temporary tattoos and their Ink Pens.

Tat2U - Tat2Lash Mascara
Shade: Black

Tat2U Tat2Lash Mascara Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $16.00 (0.25 oz full size). Available on the Tat2U website and everywhere else Tat2U makeup is sold.
My Rating: 5 out of 5 Kisses!

Product Info...

Instantly increase length and volume! Tat2Lash makes lashes fuller and longer without clumping. Available in just one classic, must-have shade: Black.

My Review...

I'll be honest and say I am most skeptical when it comes to trying out new mascaras. A lot of mascaras don't do much for my lashes and when I find a good one, I tend to stick with it (even though as a beauty blogger I constantly like to try new products). So when it comes to trying out a new mascara, I am a bit more critical. Especially any mascara that is beyond a drugstore price; this one is $16 and it's completely worth every penny to me.

With that being said, I was beyond blown away by this mascara! I did one eye with one coat and was like "wow!" and after two coats I couldn't believe the dramatic increase in length I had. I knew I instantly loved it.

It certainly can be good with a single coat, but I do two coats out of habit and for more va-va-voom and la-la-length. I use it almost every single day, either on its own or layered with another mascara (because I like to layer sometimes).

I do find clumping to be minimal to non-existent but of course if you apply too much it could cause some issues (as it could with just about any mascara). You'll find you don't need a lot to get the job done!

Final Thoughts...

If you want a mascara to give you dramatic length and some good volume, in one to two coats, then you need to try the Tat2U Tat2Lash Mascara. It may not be as well known as some other brands out there, but this is a gem of a find! I highly recommend this mascara!!!

I also have the Dr.Jart+ Pore Medic Pore Purifying Mask (a sheet mask). A review of that will be coming soon.

My Review...

I recently moved into a new house, so my skincare routine hasn't been the most consistent and I really like to test out a product before I write up a review. I've been using this now for about 6 or 7 weeks, off and on, so I've got a good idea of what I think of this cleanser; at least a clear enough opinion to write this review.

What I love about it the most is how my face feels while it's being cleansed and after. It really does make my skin feel clean - very clean, in fact. But it doesn't dry my skin out, and my skin is combo (leaning more towards dry). It does have a slight bubble-like effect while you're cleaning your face and I like that feeling. Makes it a bit more enjoyable and I do feel like it cleans out the pores really nicely. I kept this in my shower mostly because I love the pump top, but then moved it to my bathroom sink so I could use it twice a day, rather than just in the shower. Does a decent job at removing makeup too - although I usually use a baby wipe or makeup wipe to remove makeup before using a cleanser or I do a double cleanse.

I can't speak too much on reducing pore size - and I don't think a lot of things do - but I have been using this in combination with a serum - L'Oreal's Youthcode Texture Perfector (which I'm almost to the end of the bottle and will repurchase), and I do find my skin's texture is improving and I do feel like my pores are improving slightly. I'm sure with continued use it could help, but I think what this cleanser does best is clean out your pores in an effective way more than just reduce pore size. But that would mean if your pores are cleaned out then they won't be as large.

I did stop using it for a week because I thought it was breaking me out, but with all the claims of how gentle this is, I didn't think this cleanse would really be to blame - and it wasn't to blame; it was another skincare product I was using at night. I went back to using the cleanser and didn't have anymore issues, so this cleanser did NOT break me out. If you have acne-prone skin this would be great for you to really clean your pores.

Final Thoughts...

If you want a cleanser that is going to really get your pores cleaned out and make your skin feel good, this is it! If you don't have noticeable pores this may not be your targeted cleanser, but for anyone who wants their pores cleaned out to help reduce their size, this is for you!
