Changes to the Blog Sale and Instagram sales too!

Hello, Beautiful!

I have made some changes to my blog sale. I want to get rid of everything I have left, so I've grouped it into lots. I still have some lots to group and some products coming up - but for now, this is how I want to sell this stuff so I can get it all out and get ready for a new blog sale in the future.

Also, if you don't follow me on Instagram, you really should! I post a lot of swatches, before & afters, make up of the day, mini product reviews that never make it here to the blog, and I also post stuff for sale! It's also really easy to reply to your questions there! :)

My Instagram name is ValentineKissesBeauty
Direct Link: http://instagram.com/valentinekissesbeauty

The new blog sale link is here: http://xoxovalentinekissesxoxo.blogspot.com/2013/03/just-added-almost-200-items-to-my-blog.html

I'll also show pics of everything below, but please go to the blog sale page for details on each lot!

I'll be adding clothing too, and probably more shoes - and other things too - in the near future! I'll probably post on Instagram first, so be sure to follow me there!

*** The shoes are not yet listed on the blog sale page but will be soon. They are all 9 or 9.5 in size in case you are interested now.

Hamadi Organics Shea Leave In - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

It's been awhile since I posted anything about Hamadi Organics. Way back in February I reviewed the Hamadi Organics Shea Hair Mask - which I LOVED (and still have some left, actually - since I have so many hair masks). I've had their Shea Leave In and never got around to writing a review on it, but I've been using it again more recently so I thought I'd write this up. Check out my full review below, including all the product info, after the pics.

Hamadi Organics - Shea Leave In

Hamadi Organics Shea Leave In Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $22 for the 4oz size or $37 for the 8oz size. Available on the Hamadi Organics website, and everywhere else Hamadi Organics is sold.
My Rating: 4.5 out of 5 Kisses

Hamadi Organics Shea Leave In is a versatile, conditioning styling cream.

Moisturizes and adds shine without being too heavy. Creates soft, natural looks... straight or wavy. Leaves no traces of starchiness or stickiness. Naturally occurring sunscreen in shea butter protects hair and scalp from harmful rays.

I really like using this leave-in cream. It makes my hair very soft and does add shine. You also don't need to use a lot - I use maybe a dime to a nickle size at most. I usually don't apply to my roots, but you could. The bottle says you can apply this to wet or dry hair. I usually just apply it after a shower, when I'd normally apply any other hair products. I start at the ends and work it up to a few inches from my roots. Anything left over on my hands I just lightly go over my roots to help control the frizz and add some shine, but the bulk to the product gets distributed from ends upwards.

This is a pricey product, but the quality is there to back that up. I really loved their Shea Hair Mask, so I knew I'd probably love this too - and I do.

LAC Taut Premium Collagen Replenishment Formula - pics, review

Hello, Beautiful!

Back in November I reviewed the LAC Gold Standard Collagen Mask - which I absolutely LOVED and would recommend. They have another collagen product, call their Premium Collagen Replenishment Formula, which is a drinkable beauty treatment. Check out my full review, including all the product info, after the pics!

LAC Taut
Premium Collagen Replenishment Formula

LAC Taut Premium Collagen Replenishment Formula Info & Review:
Cost/Availability: $110.00 for a box of 8 bottles (1.7 fl oz per bottle). Available for those of us in the USA on the Renew Alliance website. Right now they also offer 1 free Taut Collagen Mask with your purchase of this box (a $10 value).
My Rating: 4 out of 5 Kisses

Unique and powerful liquid collagen beauty formula from Japan to improve skin elasticity, firmness and hydration. Each 1.7 fl oz bottle contains the highest concentration - 13,000 mg - RDS (Rapid Delivery System) premium Type(l) hydrolyzed marine collagen infused with anti-aging ingredients to restore your skin's natural radiance and help reduce the signs of aging. Similar products only offer 5,000 MG per serving, or less - so you're really getting a high concentration with this product.

With use, you'll get results you can see and feel:
  • Firmer, youthful, more luminous skin.
  • Improved skin elasticity and hydration.
  • Smoothing of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Stronger hair and nails.
They recommend taking one bottle at least 3 to 4 times a week, just before bedtime. For more intensive results you can take it daily for the first 1 to 2 weeks then switch to every other day. Most users of this product see a marked improvement within a few weeks to a month and a half of consistent use.

Drink at room temperature, or you can refrigerate it - or even serve it over ice. Just don't freeze it.

Their recommendation to take this at night, just before bedtime - on an empty stomach, is important to keep in mind. Timing does matter with this product, for two reasons:
  1. Your stomach is empty, which increases absorption of Taut.
  2. All of the repair work that takes place in our body - right down to the cellular level - occurs while we are asleep.
You need to shake these bottles well before you consume. The actual consistency is a little thick and the smell was like orange juice. Between the consistency and the smell, I was a little turned off. It's supposed to have a "great orange flavor", but I wasn't a fan. Then again, I have an EXTREMELY difficult time drinking any kind of product that is orange flavored (I don't even really like orange juice due to having to break medicine and put it in orange juice and drinking it --- it ruined me forever on orange juice). This does contain real orange juice as part of the formula, which is what gives it that orange juice-like taste.

But because I really LOVED the LAC Taut Gold Standard Collagen Mask so much, I really wanted to give this product an opportunity. I gave the other 7 bottles I had to a friend (since I used one bottle to photograph and "swatch" and lightly taste test it myself). I asked her to try it out, and she was very egar to. She's 36 so this is exactly the type of product that could benefit her.

She actually said these had a nice orange flavor that wasn't bad to take, but agreed that the consistency was a little thick (but unlike me, she could handle that). She didn't see any huge improvements in skin, but thought her nails benefited, as well as her hair was shiny. This is a product I feel you really need to give a good month or two of consistent use - meaning more than one box - to really see results.

She felt this was an easy beauty treatment to do and it was quick too, since you can drink it like a shot.

If you have an event coming up - like a wedding or reunion - this would be a great extra step you could take to improve your skin's appearance, as well as benefiting your hair and nails.

Mally Lipgloss in Love Is Pink - pics, swatches, review

Hello, Beautiful!

I had these photos in a folder, so I thought I'd write up a quick review on this! It's the Mally Lipgloss in the shade Love Is Pink. I don't think they sell these individually anymore, as they're not for sale on Mally's website, but I did find an old QVC page that sold these as the Life, Love & A Really Great Lipgloss singles. I honestly don't remember how I acquired this gloss, but I took the time to take these photos and process them, so I'll make a post.

Since you can't purchase these anymore, I won't link to it anywhere below, or even write up an "official" review" but I will post the product info I could find from the QVC website.

Mally Lipgloss
Shade: Love is Pink

Keep your lips glossy, shiny and luscious with this lip gloss. The formula gives lips a punch of color and creates a long-lasting, ultra-wet look. Best of all, it doesn't feel sticky.

Was available in 6 shades:
  • Love Is Pink: a sheer pink
  • Life Is Fuchsia: a sheer fuchsia
  • Be A Peach: a sheer peach
  • Sexy: a sheer netural
  • Baby Blush: a peachy pink
  • Pearly Girl: a pure pearl

I have the shade Love Is Pink, and I like the shade but not in love with the shade. It's a really pretty pink that would flatter a lot of lighter skintones on its own, but also makes a great topper gloss shade. I think I would have loved to try Life Is Fuchsia, as well as Sexy.

To me, this formula reminds me of her High Shine Liquid Lipsticks -- I don't see much difference between them, and in fact, I thought this was a mini version of it originally. It has a brush applicator, which I'm not a fan of when it comes to this consistency of gloss, but I can work with it.

I liked these, but not sure if I would re-purchase if they ever were to be sold again - only because they remind me so much of her High Shine Liquid Lipsticks, and I own pretty much every shade she's ever made of those.

Now let me know what you think...
