Fright Night Claw Polish in Voodoo

Hello, Beautiful!

Today is going to be a busy, fun day. First I go into my son's school to help out for several hours, but then after he gets home from school I have my hair appointment! If all goes well I will have a hair post for you tomorrow to show you my new hair color. Any guess as to what color it will be? I'm leaving part of my hair un-touched, but doing something fun with the rest :)

Anyhow, onto another Halloween 2011 polish. This is one by Fright Night, their Claw Polish, in the shade Voodoo.

This is one of those polishes that looks so much prettier in person. The camera does not capture it's beautiful sparkle! This is a beautiful, almost jelly-like (with a top coat on it) "blood-red" with red glitter and beautiful sparkle. Not a chunky glitter - but a smooth glitter. It does need a top coat to really bring out the sparkle, but when you do... wow! So pretty! I don't normally like red's, but I really like this one! I will definitely be using this polish for a few Halloween nail art designs.

You can pick this up at many places in the Halloween section. I found mine at Target in a 2-pack (only comes with the shade Sinister, a black creme) and it costs around $5 to $6 for the 2-pack. I'm waiting to find these on their own because there are other Claw Polishes I want, but I don't want a bunch of black cremes that I don't need.

To re-create this NOTD:
  • 1 coat of Deborah Lippmann Hard Rock Hydrating Hardener used as my base coat
  • 2 coats of Fright Night Claw Polish in Voodoo
  • 1 coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat
  • *** I was going to add a black spider on my ring finger but completely forgot! I will re-do this mani with that spider as part of my Halloween nail art.
